SentrySafe Depository Safe, XX Large Digital Money Safe, 1.6 Cubic Feet, DH-134E

This has been used a few times a day for about 6 months at my store, and it work great. The issue I have is that the lettering on the number pad has rubbed off, but no big deal. It has many features nice features, and the price is right. No problems thus far. Will update this review if anything changes.Update 7/13: After significant daily use in a fast food store, I can say that this is a good buy. The numbers will wear off, and they batteries will need to be replaced, but this thing has not hiccuped once. I didnt think I would use it, but I have used the multiple pass code program, different employees got different pass codes, and when/if they no longer needed access, I could erase that code and keep my main code. It's definitely been beat up, but shows now signs of giving up. I now have two, one for each store, both performing excellently.

This safe model is great. I buy these for ALL of my stores around the nation. Sometimes I buy them from Staples and sometimes from Amazon. One of my new stores just got theirs in and the unit had NO manual. THANKFULLY, the previous user never changed the master code and I always keep a copy of the manual on my computer. We were able to change the code and use the safe.How did we discover this was a USED safe? Upon opening the safe there were 4 driver's licenses inside. The safe is in great condition, I just didn't realize I was buying a used one this time.Overall, I recommend the safe model, just be careful as to who the seller is.

The only problem it arrived pretty banged up and the batteries included did not work.

This safe is perfect for small office use. It holds several digital combinations (I think 7 plus a manager and a master combination), so you can issue different codes to different people. That said, I thought there would be some ability to track who logged in with their code to open the safe. It doesn't seem to do that. Thus, the only real benefit of having multiple codes is that if an employee leaves (for whatever reason) you can disable that code easily without having to issue new codes to other staff. This has come in very helpful. The drop drawer works well most times, depending on the size of what is being put into the drop. A standard zippered money bag can, at times, get caught in the back of the drop and not fully drop into the safe. Staff had to be trained to open/close the drop multiple times to sort of shake the money bag so that it falls properly into the safe. I do like the fact that it has a shelf to separate dropped items from stored items. We use the safe every day and have also recommended that other offices purchase the same safe. So far, two other offices have done so, and they too think it works wonderfully -- other than the money drop issue (i.e. having to make sure that the bag falls down into the safe and doesn't just stay at the back of the drop).

This safe box is suck . Hard to lock and can't unlock the box.. Have to enter password at least few time ..I want to throw that one buy other one.... That's suck.. Wasting my time and money.. Suck

The safe was horrible. It broke before it started to do anything for us. Also, shipping was bad. The safe arrived with few scratches on it.

Does what it advertised it would do. The size is ideal for our small business and set up was extremely easy.

I purchased this safe for my grocery store and so far it is working perfectly. It is well built and easy to operate. Shipping was fast and the unit had a great price. Easy to program your codes, but instructions don't tell you to push * your code # to open the safe. Took some trial and error to figure it out.

I bought the 109 model for my business from Costco and the automatic door locking mechanism started wasting my time after a month. Called the customer service and returned the product back to Costco as advised. This model is working good so far.
