The Best Pen Ever
I am really picky about pens and office supplies in general. These pens look like the cheap, ugly, generic pens that would write in a scratchy way, like a pen you might grab out of a cup in an office to fill out a form. Don't let appearances fool you! They are actually the smoothest writing pens I've ever used. I found them during law school, ten years ago, when I took notes by hand and needed my pen to keep up with how quickly I needed to write to get down all the details. This pen is the only one that delivered perfectly because of how smoothly it writes - no scratchiness or skipping to slow me down! And you know how sometimes you buy a pen but then you lose it or just start using a different pen instead, so you have a bunch of pens that still have ink until eventually they're dried out and you just toss them? Not these! I buy these and then I actually use them until they have run completely out of ink, which is extremely satisfying. And have you ever been writing quickly and had a pen flip right out of your hands (maybe that's just me)? The outside of the pen is also a smooth, soft, rubbery material that lets you get a good grip, too!And did I mention the price? They are SUCH a good value!I've been loyal to these pens for ten years and I'll keep being loyal to them until they stop being made. If that sad, unfortunate, nightmare of a day ever does come, I will buy every single one I can find to try to stock up as long as possible.

Great ball pen you can rely on for your most important writing tasks, like exams.
The media could not be loaded. The blue is on the darker side, comparing some other brands offer light blue. The pen glides on paper so well. Loving it! Worth trying absolutely.

Literally the best ballpoint pen out there
I am a rabid pen snob. I'm very picky about my stationery as a whole, and have been for as long as I can remember. I got these pens on sale sometime about a decade ago and I've looked for them at stores since, but never found them. I was reminded about them again recently and was so happy to find the exact ones here that I've been looking for for years. I just got the pens in (I bought a box of blue and a box of black), and.... They absolutely hold up to memory. More than that, I have tested them against all of my favorite pens that I have collected over the years and the only pen that beats these are the Tul gel .7mm. Out of all pens I own or have tried: gel, ballpoint, fountain, felt tip/fine liner.... These are top two of all time. If they had crates of 100 of these pens, I'd buy themithoit question.Hard facts that are more helpful than a random person's opinion:1. They don't smudge at all with highlighters. Tried many types on black and blue ink. Doesn't budge.2. Great for lefties. I rubbed my hand hard against the ink immediately after writing and got a tiny bit of shadowing, but no dragging or moving of the ink. And that's with trying to smudge it. Nothing with normal use.3. Pigment is dark and rich like gel without the need for added pressure to get increased darkness.4. Flow is blissfully smooth. They might skip while starting, but after it's started once it's good to go indefinitely. No globbing of ink on the tip, no hitching or scratching. Even on trash paper, these pens glide effortlessly. Two small drawbacks that I'll be honest about:1. The cap fits a bit loose while posted. Twists easily which makes it feel like it'll fall off, but I haven't had one fall off yet. It has a kind of satisfying click when the cap goes on either end, so even though the wiggle sensation is there while writing sometimes, it seems the design is secure enough.2. The shape of the tip isn't the most comfortable for long term writing. There's a ridge that is a little unfortunate if you're the type who hold pens close to the tip like me. It's not a problem for short uses at all.All said, I'll recommend to everyone and loan no one these pens. Wish they were in stores again.

So smooth. Great pens.
These pens flow so well and are great price. If you're looking for a better version of the wider blue colored ball point pens you buy in packs, this is it.

Fine/Medium tip. No smudges. Great price. Great for writing, illustrations, and outlining.
Love the point size. Easy to write with. Don't smear and are legible. Love the professional feel in my hand. Not bulky. Can use to outline and to illustrate designs. Will buy again.

Great pen
I love how smooth these pens write. They’re very durable when adding lines to my watercolor paintings. I will definitely purchase again.

It doesn’t just write, it glides!
Very light and doesn’t require much pressure to make the ink show. The ink is highly pigmented/saturated, so the color appears very blue and doesn’t look faded or washed out like other blue pens. It blends so effortlessly without bleeding through pages, and dries almost instantly so you don’t have to worry about smudges. Writing with it is quick and easy, as the pen glides exactly where you want it to go without having to apply much force or meeting much resistance. This ball-point pen has all of the benefits of a gel pen (doesn’t require force, glides with little to no resistance, very colorful/highly pigmented ink) without any of the downsides of gel pens (doesn’t bleed through pages, dries quickly, ink doesn’t smear). In other words, this pen is perfect! At first I thought it might not hold up against its “Jetstream” predecessor (as shown in the photo with the blue post-it note comparing the writing of the two Uni-Ball Jetstream pens against one another; where the predecessor is on the bottom while the successor [i.e. this pen] is on the top). Surprisingly this pen is actually better and easier to use and handle than its predecessor. You can also see the superior ink quality as shown in the photo of the writing sample against the yellow post-it note. The only potential downside—at least for me personally—is the relative weight of the pen, as this pen is much more lightweight than many other pens I’m used to using (just as a matter of personal preference, I like a slightly heavier pen). But overall, this is a great pen all around. I know it’s a bit expensive for a box of pens, but I must say, the quality far exceeds the price. I’d highly recommend these to anyone who’s particular about their pens. You won’t be disappointed!
