This is not a simple job
This replacement is not for the faint of heart1. you have to remove the back glass - heat gun needed. As I progressed, I understood that more heat is better, i hit it with about 20-30 secs at a time, till the edge you are working on is too hot to touch, then it's possible to pry larger chunks of glass away from the back. if you don't heat it up enough, little glass shards will fly everywhere ( wear eye protection2. the camera bump - the metal camera bezel and camera glass needs to be removed before gluing the new back on. the bezel is bigger than the hole in the glass. this is by design, in order to remove the bezel and camera cover, you literally have to pry it off ( I used a small spoon) what you are doing is pulling apart a thin metal lip that sits between the camera bezel and the camera glass, by forcing the bezel assembly up - this is not meant to be disassembled, Don't damage the tiny camera or the mic.3. Once the camera bezel and glass is off , you can then glue the back glass in place. dry fit is and clean up the iphone frame edges. clamp and let set4. now you must glue back the camera cover/bezel - I don't think this part is meant to be glued on this way but, there's no other way - unless you want to remove the camera bezel with a dremel and replace it ( which might be better)anyway - like I said, you can save $175 or 1-5 hours of your time. like all things, it would be much easier the second time you do it
