Allfix iPad Mini Touch Screen Digitizer Complete Assembly with IC Chip & Home Button Replacement &Tool Kit White

I had to installed both an LCD and a digitizer on my iPad. I was a little concerned as one of the warnings when doing this repair is to not to bend the cable as it can break and make the digitizer inoperable and when I received it and took it out of the packaging it was a little bent (pic attached). The second thing I noticed is that the pre-installed adhesive didn't cover as much as the factory glass, I did use a little extra as I wasn't confident of the magnets having enough adhesive as it only covered the edge of the magnet. After completion of the repair, I would say this is a great priced product for repairing your iPad. My iPad works flawlessly after repairs and would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a more cost effective way of repairing their tablet.

thought the install went very well. There is a problem with the digitizer sometimes where about a 1" strip of screen becomes unresponsive. Easily solved with a quick lock / unlock to reset the screen. Not sure if it's the digitizer or a problem with the iPad itself. Packaging was great, shipped fast and on time. I gave 3 stars because I lean more toward the problem being from the digitizer but have no way to prove it. And the repair was a booger, so itIsn't worth doing a follow up repair just to see if the minor inconvenience is fixed.I've gotten other screens for 5s and 5 from wefix and had no problems with quality or craftsmanship, so in my book it's still a good company to buy from!

While installing the new screen a sticker was placed on the INSIDE of the screen directly. We had to remove this sticker and remove the adhesive. Very upsetting and time consuming. The sticker could have been placed on the opposite side over the protector that gets peeled off instead of directly on the screen. We were not at all happy about this. The screen seems to work fine but there are marks that we could not remove due to the sticker. Very disappointed in the company for shipping their product in this manner.

After 4 months the home button doesn't work at all. It never really aligned properly, but since the iPad was functioning it was not that big of an issue. Until it stopped working all together. Screen also starts typing on its own without anyone pressing on the keys. I do not recommend this product. Look elsewhere.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to fix the broken ipad mini for a fraction of what it costs of a professional. I used on line videos to help me do it correctly. You must follow all directions very carefully . The screen and kit included all the tools. Additionally I used a hair dryer and a razor blade. If this didn't work, I would have had to throw out the old ipad because professionals charge more than the ipads are worth.

This is the second screen replacement I've purchased and again I've gotta say that this is a great value for your money. Only small gripe I have is that there should be a little more adhesive tape near the home button but a small dab of rubber cement fixes the issue. Just be sure to let it sit with a few books on top of the ipad for a few hours to get it to seal up nicely. The gap is barely noticeable but if you have a case of some sort you won't even notice it at all.

Replaced my son's IPad Mini screen. Worked perfectly. Highly recommended. Just be sure to heat the old one well enough before attempting to remove the glass so it doesn't shatter like mine. Then heat well after replacement so the glue sticks well.
