Size:8 and 14 Inch Puppies in Bloom has created a colorful and easy way to identify each puppy in a litter. Our Puppy ID Bands come with 12 bands (collars) in assorted colors. Each puppy will wear a different color for unique identification from litter mates. The bands wrap around and self-attach. No buckles, fasteners or string. The material has a secure grip, but is lightweight, thin and soft enough for newborns. Easy to adjust as the pups grow. Four sizes to choose from. Designed to use with our color coordinated PUPPiES iN BLOOM Record Keeping Charts, sold separately.

puppy ID bands
These are great, they do not get stuck in the hair, you use what you need for that pup and it is enough of one color to grow with the pup. you are able to order more and they arrive quickly so that you will not run out of collars. several of the puppy buyers wanted to take the collar with the pup as the first collar. if the other pups chew on them they maintain and are easily cut off and replace. these are the only ones I ue

Ok little collars.
I have used these for the past three litters. I like them, but then I don't. I use fleece blankets in the first few weeks to keep the babies warmer and they work ok, but the pups get their little collars stuck on the blanket because of the Velcro and this scares the pups when they get can't break free. I recommend these if you use cotton blankets for your litters.

No problem with velcro.
Excellent for me. Used for 2 litters then trashed. But didn’t expect more than one. I got the puppy records that match the collar colors. Great tool.

Older pups only, not newborns.
We have used several different brands of whelping collars on our pups and these ones are just too sharp. The sides are rough, the ends are sharp, and a few of the puppies ended up getting cut by the edges. Our opinion is that these collars are not safe for newborns tender skin, but they are fine for older pups.

No problem with these
These are worth a bit more in price as they do not harm the pups. Cheap ones cuts the pups in two locations around their shoulder area and require medication to cure.
