Love the style that Pimsler uses to teach languages, & that they sell CDs.. I learned Spanish in my car! When I told my daughter I wanted to learn Norwegian, she suggested I try a language app. I told her that I had such a good experience with Pimsler, I'm going to always stick with them!

Very easy to follow directions very complete and very easy to understand

I really like this set of CD's because I can learn them in the car. Unfortunately it only covers a small sub-set of the language so I have way more to learn. I could also do without a whole track devoted to telling me how great Pimsleur and his methods are. I have already brought it so you don't have to sell me on it.

these audio cd is so fun, you will enjoy learning. all you have to do is spend 30 minutes listening to it, and you can be fluent. they teach you the basic, and i thinks its a perfect way of teaching to understand norwegian. takk!

I liked the introductory lessons, but then the audio was difficult to hear. The method does work, but I think it would work much better with a live teacher who can repeat more clearly if you cannot hear what was said.

I loved this! It was really easy to pick up and cheap for the quality! It was really fun to use because it put you in the middle of a conversation with another person (not real, if you couldn't get my drift) but works like a charm. Har deg brah!

This is a great series of CDs that gives one the basics needed to survive, really, to respect the country. English is spoken throughout the country, so, is the CD set "really" needed? No....but it's fun to be able to say a few things in the Norwegian language.

I practiced this every weekend before I left for my trip. I even used some of it and got a nice comment from a lady when I asked her a question. Most people in Norway can communicate in English, so in a way it was disappointing in not being able to use it more.

I am really sold on this course as a way to learn Norwegian. I used the phrases on a trip recently with no hesitation because of all the practice out loud you do. And what is learnt is useful. It is much better than smoking for retention but failing is complementary for vocabulary. Great way to learn a language during a car commute and making the time fly by.

I just love the Pimsleur approach. It's great for confidence building and you get going really quickly. Hardly seems like any time since I started and already I'm feeling confident that I'll be able to manage on my holiday in Norway. It's just as good as the other great language products I've used from Pimsleur in the past...I can see why I keep coming back for new languages.
