I've been dry-cutting a lot of concrete indoors lately and I don't want any of that abrasive grit getting in my lungs! I've tried the paper masks that were all the rage for the last three years but they leaked and fogged up my glasses. The $20 masks made of rubber with two side filters look like they'd work, but are extremely uncomfortable and don't fit well. I was hesitant to spend $50 for this mask but the reviews were good and Amazon's return policy meant I had nothing to lose by trying it. To be honest, I figured it would have to be pretty damned good in order to keep it. I'm happy to report that this mask is probably as comfortable as any mask could be, it seals around my face perfectly, it has valves that prevent exhausted air from fogging up glasses, and has an excellent two-stage filtering system.Don't spend twenty bucks for a mask you'll hate and probably not wear. I've got one of those that's going in the trash. Seriously... how much are your lungs worth?

I like these respirators the most. They fit well and are very comfortable. The cheap replaceable prefilter is great for woodworking and greatly extends filter life and cuts down on costs of replacing filters.

Possibly needing to gain some weight would fix it.

I care for 35 acres of property in a semi-arid environment that can get very dustyThis mask is light, all silicone, fits well and the particulate cartridge that comes with it totally blocked dust amd dirt during mowing. While cutting porcelain tile it filtered the dust while being rather comfortable to wear.Disposable N95’s are lighter but do not seal well and allow 5% to get thru into your lungs.3M masks are heavy, expensive and read the fine print - N95. 3M masks make breathing very difficult. Each breath is an effort.The Sundstrom makes breathing very easy.There are additional cartridges for special purposes that can be bought. I used the Organic Vapor cartridge while spraying herbicide for three hours. I never smelled the herbicide. I used to grt a chemical taste in my tongue with the 3M, nothing with Sundstrom. It barely left a mark on my face.Are your lungs worth $50 bucks? Is avoiding Parkinsons Disease worth 50 bucks?

So far the best respirator I’ve owned, I’m a FinishCarpenter and use a respirator pretty much all day long, so far everything is holding up, inside the respirator condensation accumulates but it doesn’t affect the silicone mask, with the 3M respirator the mask and strap start dissolving under sweat and condensation so I’m constantly looking for the perfect respirator and it appears I’ve found it. I remove the filter and vacuum the inlet side and the filter is as good as new.

I bought these for myself and all the guys in my shop. We manufacture concrete countertops and are constantly managing silica in our environment. These masks fit well, are comfortable and effective.
