Red HeartSuper Saver Yarn, Real Teal

The three pack is wrapped in plastic keeping it safe from stains. I have 48 years of crochet experience. Red Heart Super Saver is a good all purpose newbie friendly yarn. It is worster weight (4). I have used this yarn for afghans, ponchos, cloaks, placemats Christmas Stockings and shawls. This is economy acrylic yarn. It does feel rough when new but after a few washes it gets softer and softer with use. I have a floor length hooded cloak I made 30 years ago. This yarn is very durable. It is also easy care for anyone who doesn't want to fuss with hand washing and blocking. This yarn is no dye lot. Sometimes no dye lot yarn can change shades but not Red Heart Super Saver. It is rare if it does. I usually use a F or G hook with this weight. If you are new, making something that needs to withstand wear and tear or not sure how much you need, this is a great choice. If you are just learning get a light solid color to practice. If you are worried about how much yarn you need, you can buy more of this later and it should match the shade of your project. Normally 6 to 8 skeins will make a decent sized afghan. At the price listed for the 3 pack it is like a buy 2 get 1 free! This is not a good choice for baby items or warmer climates. It is awesome for New England winters. My only concern ordering online is I am a pull from the middle of the skein person. In a store I usually check for the yarn end pulling from the middle. I am happy to write that all three skeins I received have the end in the middle available which will help reduce yarn barf! Will purchase more of this yarn as needed.

I like the Color of this yarn. The yellow is like a gold or mustard yellow color so it’s not too bright at all. The yarn does have some firmness to it but I like that because you can see the definition in your knit/Crochet work and that makes it easy to work with. Because it’s also so firm it doesn’t frizz easily even after a few washes it still looks as new! But it does loosen up over time which is good too. I used it in a few of my Designs for my Etsy shop called Édas.Co Designs and I hav e the pictures attached for u to see how it looks.

I'm a beginner at weaving and unsure of all the different kinds of yarns but I do know what I like. This is a great 3-pack of yarn. Good quality, strands don't unravel while using and and the color is a deep black, just as depicted in the photos.I've already decided that I will be rebuying this brand when my stash runs out.

I haven’t used the yarn yet as I’m still waiting for my crochet hooks to get delivered from a different company. I’m planning on making myself a sweater. Can’t wait t start on it!

Great yarn, a really good deal. But just be careful if making a project where you need multiple colors like a blanket. Half of the colors I ordered were much softer than the other half, which is not a big deal if not combining colors in the same project. But for my blanket there will be spots that are rougher than the others due to this. Nothing a few times in the wash probably won't fix but still good to know.

General: You can get this yarn much cheaper at Joann, but it’s almost always out-of-stock! Love the color of this yarn, it’s a bright green! A lil expensive, but very worth it!Doll Makers: This yarn is great for wefts! Color does not change when brushed out and ironed! Also the left over fibers of the yarn is great for stuffing!

Love red heart yarn, good price

I have spent many hours crocheting granny squares to create a blanket, and as you can see from the images I have attached, the quality of the Pink Perfect yarn does not compare to the rest of the colours I purchased from Red Heart. The yarn is noticeable thiner than the other yarns I have brought from this brand which has resulted in smaller squares that I can not use in my blanket.I have attached an image of the packaging and you can see the brand and sizes of the yarn is exactly the same and yet the squares have come out noticeably smaller than the other 52 granny squares I have crocheted. This has wasted hours of my time crocheting squares that I can't use and wasted the money that I've spent.

Couldn’t find a thickness rating - very thick in comparison to other double knitting wool. Need t9 return as I made the same mistake with a red tarn from same maker

I really like this yarn for amigurumi it’s great for the wear and tear of a kids toy 🧸

Not the softest yarn however it was bought for making Christmas angels and was ideal. Made 6 in all and still have yarn left for next year's projects. Great value for money, would use again definitely.
