Amending my review
This recliner is very comfortable and very well made. The quality of workmanship is outstanding compared to other recliner I have owned. I am very satisfied with the overall appearance and operation of the recliner. The transit time in shipping was longer than expected, but otherwise arrived in good condition. If your in the market for a Lift Recliner, this is one you should check out because of the features it performs. One month after using my recliner I contacted senior.com about warranty service and they refused to reply or even talk to me,. They ignored me after the sale. Better think twice about ordering anything from them and visit an authorized Golden Dealer in your area. I contacted Golden directly and they were very willing to assist me with a warranty visit. If I could rate senior.com they would get 1 star and a "Bronx Cheer".

Screws sheared off the base
We bought this chair from a local medical supply store for my MIL about 2.5 years ago. The metal base is attached to wooded frame of the chair with 4 screws. 3 of the 4 screws sheared off. My MIL is well below the weight limit of the chair. She was almost stuck in the chair after it broke, but luckily she was able to struggle out of it. We tried to get it fixed under warranty, and Goldentech would pay for 4 new screws, that's it. Luckily a local authorized repair shop fixed it for us, only charging one hour of labor and free screws. The technician drilled new holes into the metal frame and used real lag bolts, not small screws. The drilling was required, since the old screws were still embedded in the wood. I don't recommend these chairs.Attached are some pictures of the broken chair. One of the pictures is of the sheared screw. The other two broken screws were the same. Notice how small they are. The other picture is the base hanging off the bottom of the chair. The manufacturer should use much stronger screws, since these screws are what holds the chair up in the air when it is raised. Pretty cheap quality for a $2000+ chair.

Golden Customer Service is great
I have a Golden Power Cloud PR512 which I love, that I did not buy from Amazon. It’s the only chair I’ve found that I can sleep in. I’ve had 3 back surgeries and can’t sleep in a bed, so I practically live in my chair. The first chair had problems with the lift mechanism so they replaced the chair. About a month after that, started having problems again so they replaced part of the frame and one of the motors. I’ve had the chair just over 2 years now and one of the motors went bad again. the part is under warranty but I have to pay labor and shipping. I have no problem with that but I’ve been without the chair over 2 weeks now. I decided to buy another Golden chair to have as a spare so I got the Relaxer PR756L. Big mistake! This is the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever had. In the sitting position, with the foot rest up, the back is at such an angle that you can’t sit comfortably to read a book or use a laptop etc. I wish I could trade it in on a PR510 MLA but there is a “no return” policy where I bought the chair. I have no complaint with Golden customer service but now I have a chair that doesn’t work and a new chair that I can’t sit in comfortably.
