DIRECTIONS: For Stiff Consistency Royal Icing, stir well with a spoon until texture is smooth and the icing forms stiff peaks. For Medium Consistency Royal Icing (15-second consistency), mix well with 2 tablespoon of water. For Flood Consistency Royal Icing, mix well with 4 tablespoon of water. Royal icing is versatile and can also be used to make buttercream frosting or cream cheese frosting smoother and creamier. Royal icing may also be used as a decorator’s edible glue. To make Buttercream Frosting, beat with 1/2 lb of softened butter or shortening in a stand mixer for 1-2 mins at medium speed. Scrape mixing bowl and beater with a spatula as needed to ensure complete mixing. To make Cream Cheese Frosting, beat with 1/2 lb of cream cheese in a stand mixer for 1-2 mins at medium speed. Scrape mixing bowl and beater with a spatula as needed to ensure complete mixing.

Good for Decorating but Bad Aftertaste
Useful for when you want to save time however the taste was not good at all! It had a bad aftertaste and was waaaayyy too sugary!I used it for decorating Día De Los Muertos skulls that were not to be eaten so for decoration purposes it worked well! I added my own coloring with gel colors and only had to add a couple tablespoons of water to make it more workable. We also used squeeze bottles and the consistency worked well!

Best Royal Icing ever!
This royal icing is wonderful! I’ve tried Wilton brand and this is much better and a lot easier to use. I will definitely buy again and again.
