Hi. Thank you for writing. The waveforms start on the right-hand-side of the display and terminate on the left when viewing the instrument from the front panel. This means that samples collected earlier are located on the left of the display (pre-trigger data, in most cases) and the latest samples are on the right side (most often post-trigger data). I need to know exactly if i can use the wavefrom generator on the 2 channel  sds2202x-e

I have same model. Yes - it supports Arbitrary Waveform Generator as external module. But considering the price ($129+$159) of it I would suggest to buy the full size Siglent signal generator as fully independent device. Consider the model SDG1032X for $359.00

Question 3

Has siglent upgraded its scopes with an independent trigger per channel?    does it still try to trigger on an off channel?

Hi. Thanks for writing in.

On our scopes, the typical trigger modes are assigned to a single channel and all data is then collected using a common time base. This provides time-synchronized data that correlates events on different channels in time. Their is also a Pattern trigger that allows for And/Or logical triggers with multiple input options.

Our scopes do not currently support alternate triggering. This is when two or more channels have independent triggers and data collection is asynchronous. This means no time correlation between inputs.. effectively creating two "single channel" scopes on one display.

I am not aware of any issues with triggering on disabled channels.

How many bits for sampling of the analog inputs ? only 8 ?       is serial decoding spi, can, etc included ?

Yes, 8-bit vertical resolution.  Serial decoding includes IIC, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN as standard (no add-on required).
