Follow the directions for an easy install. I am not mechanical or one that enjoys home improvement anything. I enjoy a nice, neat home and these locks fit the decor. Now other than a car key no bulky keys to carry.

Programming code does not work - on hold for service for an hour - no answer
This is the 2nd Schlage lock I have had trouble with. The hardware store replaced the last one. That one worked. Now putting one in another house. This one will not accept the programming code. Online help steps do not resolve the issue. Can't get customer service to answer. JUNK!!!!

Excellent product, removes the need for any keys for the house. I have installed it on both my outside doors, and it works well. Installation was quick, requiring only a 15 minute install with a screwdriver to complete it.

No backlight!
This was easy to install and looks nice, however the lack of backlit key is a nightmare.

Sleek and easy to use
Sleek looking. Easy to install and use. Could have allowed for a little more space for the wires. I was afraid I was going to damage them putting the battery cover on.

Initially worked great - failed after six months.
Purchased 3 of this model. In less than six months the majority of the time the lock will spin and not engage despite inputting the correct pin. It frequently takes me 5-10 tries to get into my home.

Only worked for about 3 years.
Only worked for about 3 years. Now it wont lock via the keypad. Not sure if I should just fork out another $100+ dollars for a new one, or somehow get Schlage to address the issue.
