No Longer Trekology Pillow Killer...
Updated: 7/15/9So when i originally purchased this item, it weighed a amazing 2.3oz but now i received one that weighs 3oz. Not sure what happened but the changes made no longer makes this a suitable option for hikers but for simple and basic travel this is a superb option.Initially when i purchased mine, there was only one color available and that was blue but now they have an array of options which is nice. Also the packaging has received an upgrade adding a ziploc bag which my precious one didnt have. The one i got before simply came as it was.I still think this is a solid pillow but as indicated, i no longer see this as a go to pillow for hikers but for those who are on the road or traveling by bus or plane, this certainly is a great option for you and while the weight did change a little, i can still inflate it with 3 puffs which is simple enough.~~~~~~~~~~This is a great all around pillow. It has a velvet feel like velour which is cozy and soft. Also, I like the valve system better than the trekology. This pillow uses the same valve system that the 2019 Nemo Air Beds use (double stacked one way inlet with push adjustment) and is easy to inflate/deflate. This system is more reliable than the valve system that trekology and paria uses because there are no mechanical parts which can fail. Pressure adjustment is simple and done with a slight press to the rubber flex valve making it simple to customize to your liking. It fully inflates with 3 breaths and to top it off, it only weighs 2.3oz which not only is lighter than all the rest, but also cost $5.00 less than the trekology! And while you may wear put the valve on this unit from opening it frequently, the offset cost of the product justifies the expense which in the long run will provide better longevity. Ultimately, this is an identical clone to the trekology pillow but with a different valve which makes it even lighter and for $9.99 compared to 14.99, this is a steal! To top it off, the company prides its self in providing excellent customer service. Not long after purchasing this product, the company sent an email ensuring that I was pleased with this product. It may have been a mailer but they still showed that they stood by their product and gave me that peace of mind that i had made a great choice. High recommended for a super budget ultralight reliable solution and when my product eventually fails, i will be right back again looking forward to the same great experience.

Comfortable and lightweight
Purchased this for backpacking trips to replace the ol' bundled-up-clothes-in-a-bag contraption. Used it on a recent trip and was pleasantly surprised. The pillow itself is comfortable and makes quite the difference compared to the clothes in a bag version. Little rubber dots or some sort of friction bottom would help alleviate the pillow sliding every which way off of my sleeping pad. Not a major issue since you can just tuck it into the head pocket on most mummy sleeping bags, but it is something to note. Also I'd suggest inflating it to maybe 85% full rather than max capacity to provide a bit of a cushion, however I suppose that depends on preference. Overall, it's a good buy, the support is nice, it's cheap in price, and light weight.

Deflated within an hour with no pressure
I really wanted to like this, but it seems the products are hit or miss. Brand new, mine deflates within an hour of being inflated, before I even lay my head on it. I can’t hear a leak anywhere so I can’t patch it, so I will be returning. Unfortunately, I didn’t discover this defect till I was on a 4 day backpacking trip. I woke up the first night with a very sore neck and deflated pillow. I opted to sleep on my backpack the remaining nights after inflating the pillow and finding it had self deflated less than an hour later. Mine also didn’t come with a carrying bag as stated, I’m hoping that doesn’t cause trouble with the return. If you get a pillow that doesn’t deflate, it seems it would be pretty good. Nice feel on the skin, compact, supportive when fully inflated, the blue looks nice.

Does not last
I bought this pillow for a 1 week camping trip. It held up for 6 nights, needing 1 reinflation halfway through the week. I put it in storage in a cool dry place, rolled up with my sleeping pad. A year later I went on a camping trip and it only held air for about an hour. By the morning it was flat as a pancake.I inflated it and put it under water to see where it was leaking from. I found 5-8 holes in 3 clusters!! They had formed on their own after 6 nights of use in less than a year. It’s basically unrepairable. I would not recommend this.

Nice pillow
I took this on a 3 day Grand Canyon trip and it worked well. Very easy to inflate and durable. I put a t-shirt over it as a pillow. I also used it as a seat cushion on cold steel benches (my weight=160 lbs.). The only thing to keep in mind is that it is too thin to hold your neck parallel at night so you'll probably need to put something like a towel or clothes underneath it to elevate it a bit (that worked for me).

Surprisingly soft!
I didn't like side-sleeping on this pillow, but it's surprisingly comfortable sleeping in the car, or on my back! You can inflate it completely if you want it firm, or let a bit of the air out to make it softer. The covering is surprisingly soft, but I put it in a pillowcase anyway. It's super easy to inflate and deflates easily back to completely flat (folds back up small and light). The dual valve is genius! I bought it for emergencies, but I'm going to take it anytime I travel on planes, trains, or automobiles.

instantly inflates, tiny when deflated, good design
I used this for camping the other night. It inflates fast because the mouth is large. It crushes to a really tiny bundle. This is a big improvement over other camping pillows, however, it inflates to about 3" tall, and most people use a pillow a lot taller than that. So plan to use it on top of some bunched up clothes to bring it to the height you need. Design is really good, I wish it were a bit thicker when inflated.

Mine leaked from the first time I blew it up .
The pillow would be great except mine doesn't hold air . The valve is very suspect and should have just been a regular old fashioned blow up valve like a air mattress or pool float.Amendment to my review : The company sent me a new pillow immediately and it is holding air well . I must have just gotten a bad one at first but now think the pillow will do the job fine . I raise my rating up to 4 stars because they responded so quickly and the new one is holding air .
