Chat Clip: Hat Mounted Bluetooth Earpiece Pivots into ear

First, I bought this clip to avoid losing the minI-Bluetooth device during long bike rides, so my comments are only about problems I encountered related to that. I originally gave this product high marks but with regular use, the clip's stainless steel plate poses a problem. The stainless steel presses against my temple and it really was uncomfortable. Please note that my initial use was clipping the clamp to my bicycle cap and putting my bike helmet over it. That really aggravated the pressure against my temple. Next I tried attaching it in the bike helmet lining. That was worse. I actually cut my ride short because I couldn't take the discomfort much longer. I get it that this clip is about as strong as they come, but I'm wondering if the stainless steel also might act like an antenna because two days later, my temple area is still sore. That's purely a guess.

I wear a Bluetooth 6 to 8 hours a day.I am very happy with my Chat Clip, My ear never gets sore like it did with the ear bud mounted Bluetooth.The Chat Clip adjusts nicely, tucks away if not needed, and seems quite sturdy.I tend to find weaknesses in products, but haven't found anything on the Chat Clip that needs improving.The Chat Clip has 2 pivots points, and 2 slides for mounting and adjusting fit and I find no weaknesses in the design.I will not lose another Bluetooth unless I lose my hat- I have mowed Bluetooths, dropped one in salt water and one off a 3 story roof, and have misplaced a couple.Also, I run the volume higher which raises the microphone pickup so people are hearing me better.It has only been 2 weeks so I will report back in a month or so, but I do not anticipate any complaints.

Oh my Gosh! Where has this device been all my life! Bluetooths bugged the heck out of me but needed to wear one for work. Bought this and really like it because it keeps my bluetooth handy and saves my ear. Now I can hear out of my ear again and only keep the bluetooth in when I'm talking. Quick delivery time.
