would not fit into LifeProof case like most, since it is not an actual Apple cord but we just 'shaved' the sides a bit with a knife to make it fit. The cord eventually started coming apart like other cords do too

I purchased this product July 2014. It was working great and I enjoyed the extra freedom with the long cable. But by January 2015 it failed to charge my iPad Mini with Retina display. My iPad doesn't even recognize when it is plugged in with the 10 ft cable. I had to go back to using the original 3ft charging cable (which works fine still.) I expected more than six months of use from this product. It's still under warranty, but I cant find information to contact the seller.

Great product! I worried about ordering it online but I've had it for a while and it still works great!Update: I've had it for about 2-3 months and my iPod's now very fussy about charging - have to have the cord just right, etc or it doesn't charge.

This is supposed to be apple certified but it does not work very well with the most recent ipad. It is a struggle to get it to charge. We lost our original Apple cable. We have to borrow an authentic Apple lightening cable to get the iPad to charge. I don't know whether this is an authentic product or if ours is just defective, either way we are very disappointed in this purchase.

Apple Certified suppose to not give you error message that its not supported by device but I continue to get that error message when I plug it into the phone

I ordered 2. One of them only lasted 3 weeks before it quit working.

Usage is at least 1-2 times per week. The cord is very durable. 10 feet is more than enough cable. Engages and disengages with the Iphone5 very well. Confirm Apple Certified. Recommend.
