So far this unit works as advertised. Seems to produce more bubbles compared to the Engel model that I had before. Only time will tell how durable it is, but seems like it should last a while.

It does deserve the 1 star as when it worked it worked well. Quiet and lots of bubbles and the bait was happy. I read the other review of buyers where it failed and crossed my fingers hoping the china guy made a mistake and accidentally made mine better. Luck was not with me and thats why I don't gamble. I put new batteries in and added water and bait. The first time I used it, it worked fine. I fished for several hours and when I was done I put it away. The next day I added water and bait and it was working fine. I was standing right next to it when I heard and saw it stop. My first thought was it used up the batteries. Of course I didn't have any more D's so I ran to the store. By the time I got back, the bait was dead or dying. Put the new batteries in and nothing. That's when I knew I got the same quality china is known for and other reviews echoed. For $46 I expect far better. Even if it was $19 I would expect far better. This is unacceptable and I will search for another brand or solution to keep bait alive.

Great aerator. Works very well. I regularly use it to keep up to two dozen sunfish very lively in a 5 gallon bucket for hours without issue. Its also very convenient you can use a wall adapter or power adapter for the car to save your batteries until your fishing.has a belt clip mount or auction cup or a nice mount to make a buclet a live well. Only flaws are needs better waterproof two way tape to hold the Velcro for the air stone to bottom of bucket and the batteries could be secured better. Sometimes if you bump it it will turn off and takes a little tap for them to make contact again. Other than those two minor things it is the best one ive owned. Also it is by for the most quiet one I've had.you can sit right next to it and hardly hear it compared to others that are very noisey and become annoying.I highly recommend it.

i use it on my frabill cooler, runs great, just remember these things only last 3-5 yearsmake sure as soon as you are done, take the batteries out and clean and dry unit otherwise youll getrust which will decrease its life.I use rechargable batteries which seem to work ok

Works great until all your bait dies overnight when it stops working! Died after only 2 weeks of on off use. When it was working the 12v plug for the car was very handy and extended the battery life. At night it was brought in and ran on the additional 120 power cable. Lost nearly more money in bait than this thing costs!

I specifically bought this unit to be able to run for a little more time than a pure battery powered unit. After using it for 5 trips, the air pump failed and the unit won't power up. On battery or via the 12v car adapter. Do not recommend.

Husband love it

I have had many Frabill products over the years - some good some not. This is definitely in the NOT good category. In fact I have owned several of these specific models and one of them worked for very long. I’m giving two stars as they work great WHEN they work. I had a horrible time w customer service when I wanted it replaced as well. They did replace it but it was long after I actually needed it! The replacement, which I did use months later, then died after about three days of use! Frabill has lost a customer forever at this point.

Works excellent. I can’t believe how long it runs on 2 “D” batteries. It does come with a battery option or 12V plug in. I misread when I bought it and thought it came with a 120 v adaptor but you have to buy that separate. After looking at the details after I purchased it clearly states that. My bad. Still best value in my opinion.

Plugged this in for the first time and let it run for a few days while I was away. Came back to a dead bubbler and dead bait.Won't work now with either the ac or the batteries.Looking for a better brand

Stopped working after 1 month. Doesn't work with 12v adapter nor batteries. Just dead after 1 month after a handful of uses. Will see how long replacement lasts to judge if brand is cheap or just received a defective unit.

i purchased 2 of these...one for myself..as a spare...one for a close friend...the one i gave away didnt last 3 days plugged into ac...so i gave her my spare...we will see how long it lasts...decided to wait for it to konk out too before i send them both back....i hope amazon will credit me ...frabil is a big name in fishing...they could at least improve on this product...other reviews..pre purchase..stated this product was crap...should have listened

This item stopped working Within a week! Sent it back.
