The box this fountain came in was pretty beat up, but because of the thick styrofoam inserts that surround the fountain, it was in PERFECT condition.The pump is not as big as some but is adequate to push enough water through the waterfall between the bears.LED lights are not super bright so I added an extra one I got on Amazon to brighten it up more for night.Also because this is a rather intricate bear sculpture and fountain, I bought a Clear Matte sealer spray and did two coats on it as being in the sun, any fountain will often fade without an extra protective coating.LOVE IT!

The fountain looks beautiful on our porch, we love it! After storing it inside for the first time in the winter, we realized the next summer it was leaking out of the bottom. We immediately contacted Alpine. After assessing the issue they promptly sent us a new fountain. Everything going well with the new one. We are so pleased with the customer service for this company they really stand by their products. Would not hesitate to buy from them again. The bear fountain is a beautiful addition to our front porch. We look forward to many years of enjoyment.

At first this thing was really nice! After about two weeks I went through two pumps and then it started to leak by the third week. Before my 30 day return policy expired I returned to Amazon. Since I was having so many issues with it within 3 weeks! It’s an over priced water fountain that won’t last no matter how nice it looked if it can’t perform what it’s made for what’s the sense on having it!

We put this bear fountain out in our back yard and we love it! It works great, lights up and is easy to use.We're delighted in the product but even more appreciative of the Alpine Corporation who were friendly and prompt to help us repace our fountain after it had been damaged during the shipping. Very pleased with this "bear" fountain. Well made, worth the money and very cute!When delivered it was missing a part. Called the Alpine Corp they sent the part quickly.They were easy to deal with. Very pleased with Alpine and their product.

First, it arrived in one piece (a number of complaints reviewing this product focused on damage during shipment).Second, the colors and shape were great -- far better than I expected.Third, it was very easy to set up and the fountain worked wonderfully.So, why four stars instead of five? Directions (or lack thereof). There isn't much to assemble, but their wasn't even a hint want to do with the few parts that came with it. What's with the screen? Where does it go? What about the two plastic fittings? No clue. Oh, the limited instructions did reference adjusting the pump intake but, again, no details. Where is the adjustment (hint, the little round intake rotates to adjust the flow but who woulda thunk)?I really do like it overall and if it lasts I will be quite happy with the purchase.

I bought this as a gift. Unfortunately, it arrived broken. However, customer support was amazing and sent a new one out right away. The second one arrived just fine. It is just so cute, sturdy, quiet, and overall very happy with the purchase!

We purchased this beautiful fountain to display on the porch of our log home in the woods. We have sighted black bear here so it is just perfect in this setting.There are two streams that flow so the sound is amazing ! Peaceful !!!!
