2 pieces U-type fixed

I used this hanger to lift 8 four inch wooden fence posts out of their 24 inch deep concrete foundations so I could avoid digging 8 big holes in order to removing the foundations too. I discovered the method on YouTube. First I used a hand-held electric reciprocating saw to cut the posts about 2 inches above ground level. I then drilled 2 holes straight down into the first stump, and attached the steel hanger to it with the 2 screws provided. I had to buy a larger diameter steel lug and link it through the lug of the hanger so that the pointed end of a 5 foot long steel levelling bar, (ground breaker), could fit into it securely. After placing a strong wooden support about 1 foot from the stump and resting the steel bar on it, I used the bar as a lever by pressing down on the free end to lift the stump out. My weight is about 215 pounds, so since I was on the 4 foot end of the bar, and the stump was on the 1 foot end, the upwards force on the hanger and stump was at least 4×215=860 pounds. This force was increased greatly each time I dropped my weight on the bar suddenly to create an impact load, which can easily double the force of a gradually lowered load, meaning that I could have been exerting up to 1700 pounds of upward force on the hanger. All 8 stumps were removed like that, leaving the eight 2 feet deep foundations in tact, except for a few which needed a few whacks from the breaking bar around their exposed edges, in order to send cracks a few inches down into the concrete. The hanger was totally unaffected by the job.

These are excellent. They are very strong and easy to fit if you have a decent hammer drill that takes SD drill bits. I used a 12mm drill bit for the holes. If you keep turning the bolt it will eventual tighten up and then hold the unit in place. I have gym hoops on mine and they easily take my weight. Good thing is I now have four nice strong coach bolts left over to use on whatever I want.

This is a quality made heavy duty hanger at a price that’s affordable, easy to install and with many uses for out and indoor swings or in the gym.

While this feels really strong, and it does rotate 360 degrees as per description, I really need something than spins freely. I want to use a hammock chair for a child and spin it fast. This doesn't rotate freely enough, quite clunky so not suitable for me

I made a swing chair for the back garden and these fixing worked out perfectly. I've had them now a few months and they are still going strong. They hold the swing that's made from pine and 3 people fine.

Really simple to put up into the joists/wooden beams of my ceiling. These are really strong and can easily hold my weight too (50-60kg). My kids love it. Only downside is that it squeaks a little

They can take the weight alright. I weigh 17st, a pair of these hangers are screwed into a length of 100mm timber on a swing I built with 16mm rope for the swing and it holds me (and my kids) just fine.

Ich habe mit dieser Halterung für einen Hängesitz bestellt, wobei ich diese Halterung an einem Holzbalken befestigt habe. Diese Halterung ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und wirkt optisch sehr ansprechend. Auch gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten diese Halterung aufgrund der zwei verschiedenartigen Schrauben zu befestigen. Natürlich habe ich die Traglast von den angegebenen 450kg nicht ausgereizt, kann mir aber sehr gut vorstellen dass diese bei weitem noch zu erhöhen ist. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Produkt und bereue den Kauf auf keinen Fall. Der Versand erfolgte sehr schnell und die Verpackung war auch sehr gut! Von mir eine 100-prozentige Kaufempfehlung und 5 Sterne für diese sehr gut verarbeitete Deckenhalterung!
