Great dumbells
I love these dumbbells as they replace the need for multiple dumbbells and is quite a space saver as well. They're quite easy to use. Just turn the dial while pressing the red knob/button to switch between the various weights which is a very smooth transition from one weight to another. The only issue that may be encountered is when putting back the dumbbells in the rack as you have to slide it back into its slot properly or else it would not go in. However, this isn't much of an issue. The handle grip is comfortable to use and is comprised of a rubber grip. The dumbbells feel very sturdy and feels way more expensive than what was paid for it.I bought two (2) dumbbells that go up to 70lbs and have not been disappointed. They also look quite appealing to the eye and I have had no issues using either of them.

Use Report at 6 months in
These are used in an in-house home gym. Prior to purchase I looked for adjustable dumbbells for use in retirement and this unit appeared to be well-rated and economically priced compared to various name brands. Based on 6 months usage with the set being used 4-5 times weekly (presses, curls, sit-ups) they have proven reliably serviceable with none of the mechanical failures some reviewers have alerted us to. As a number of reviewers have noted, there are some foibles:(1) Binding plates. There was lighter plate "stick" on one of the units (after several month's use) and the plate fell off during the first rep. Upon examination of the plate, I noticed it was slightly burred on one surface. I examined others in the rack and where I found roughness used vegetable oil which appeared to solve the binding issue. Also, if you're concerned over binding, try half racking and returning before lifting out.(2) Detent button periodically "hesitates" on return after weight selection on one unit. On my set the columnar detent buttons are red with a black housing. Some of the photos supplied here show a white housing and others with a linear adjustor so there may be manufacturing variations. A slight left/right shifting of the selector knob restores the travel. Again, if you're suspicious that something's awry, try the half racking move after the selector dial "wiggle".(3) Re-racking issue. I get this occasionally with heavier settings. It appears that the plates left behind shift sightly in the rack when the unit is removed and this causes binding when trying to return the loaded dumbbell to the rack. The remedy is to examine and reposition the plates in the rack fully in their recesses and re-seat the dumbbell.

Great product, home dumbbell set all in one
The adjustability on this product is great. I can use it for all kinds of exercises for my biceps, triceps, or even back. It is expensive, but it's really an entire set of dumbbells crammed into one, perfect if you want to be able to stay fit without going to the gym, but you don't have a lot of space for a home gym. You may not need this product if you only want to do bicep curls occasionally or something, as you can just buy one normal pair of dumbbells and get use out of that, but if you want to do many different types of exercises, and you want to steadily increase the weight you're lifting, this is a great product.

Metric (it's in kg), great range of weights, sturdy
Overall very happy with the purchase. Very convenient, saves space, and feels well builtPros:- Easy dial to switch weights- Sturdy build- Compact and aesthetically pleasing- Wide range of weights- Shipped to HawaiiCons:- Took longer than expected to ship- Single dumbbell (yes yes, I read the description and I bought 2 but odd that they don't have the option to buy it as a set)- Plates rattle a bit, but not too bad- Lining the weights back up onto the stand some times is tricky especially when a lighter weight is chosen. Because the plates have to align perfectly into the slots to slide in, it's a little cumbersome on certain weights because there are multiple plates that need to line up and don't slip in because it is slightly off. You get used to it, but in the beginning it really slowed me down. Not really an issue on the heavy weights- The dumbbells are kind of long and the weight distribution is a bit weird. When doing exercises like hammer curls or skull crushers, the length of the weights can make the movements a bit off. Again, I think something you kind of get used to and having the convenience of just one set of dumbbells, I was more than willing to learn to live with it.- The weights use the metric system. I can do the conversions on the fly, but as an American I typically like using my imperial system because it makes me feel more exclusive (am I right Liberia and Myanmar)

Essential for a home gym
After lot of research, I decided to try this pair of adjustable dumbell for my home garage gym. Criteria was space efficient and wide range of weights. This one ticked both the boxes. When paired with the Ativafit dumbell stand, this is an absolute must have for any home gym, allowing a range from 11lbs to 71lbs.I absolutely recommend the company. At first the dials would get stuck and I called the company and they shipped me a new set of dumbells and only later I realized that all it needs is a WD-40 spray and its good to go. So if your dumbell appears to be "stuck", that is the easy fix.It is not unwieldy by any means. Yes, it is longer than a traditional dumbell, but you get used to that quite quick. At first I was scared to do any overhead presses in fear that a dumbell will drop, but it has been rock solid for 2 years now. I would be careful on how I drop it though. I have a rubber mat all over my gym and I would be very careful to slam it on concrete floor. The only exercise where I was not thrilled with this is the renegade row, I felt it was not very stable on one of the hex edges as I balanced my body weight. The stand is an absolute must have in my mind, prevents back injury. Also sometimes, I would need a smaller weight like a 5lb or 8lb for a reverse fly etc and for that I just bought a cheap set of dumbells. Overall this set coupled with my prx performance rack has given me tremendous capability taking up almost no space.Highly highly recommend this.
