🎶 Unlock timeless tone with modern versatility!
The Seymour Duncan ’59 Model JB Neck Humbucker in black combines vintage late-’50s tonal character with modern flexibility. Featuring an Alnico II magnet and hand-wound coils, it delivers warm, balanced sound with creamy highs. Its four-conductor wiring allows coil-splitting and phase reversal for diverse single-coil tones without hum. Wax-potted for feedback resistance and designed for easy P-mount installation, it’s a reliable upgrade for professional guitarists seeking classic tone and performance.

Great tone!
Installed on a fender start HSS and I setup to have single coils or HB switchable. Both positions sound amazing!Single: regular strat, but noiseless and crispierHB: can punch a nice gain for heavier stuff without the undesirable noisesNote: I am a DIYer, not a pro

A great pickup for all things, sounds good split to a single.

Sound great 🤘
I purchased this pickup, and the complementary neck pickup, so I could add single coil functionality to my guitar. They sound great and do what I want. I can now get a jangly, focused, strat-like tone out of my 335.Bonus: I was practicing through a tiny little amp and the speaker broke up and sounded terrible with any gain (distortion). I switched these humbuckers to single coils and it cleared the muddiness right up. I could roll the volume up and get the crunch tone I was unable to dial in with humbuckers. They say they're jazz pickups, but these things Rock!

Exactly what I wanted
Bought this to swap out a cheap stock humbucker. It is a great sounding pup for a reasonable price. Delivery was fast.

Great tone
Not brittle or classy more on the warmer side this thing with some gain and reverb makes a beautiful tone made my guitar sound like 700 dollars better

Shocked how good mine sounds in single coil/tapped mode.
I wired this into a 5-way switch on a Ibanez S-style. The humbucker tone is classic JB-enhanced PAF, but my coil tapped tone (N side) is just outstanding. I had to modify the circuitry to accomodate the 500k pot (soldered a 250k pot to just the tapped mode and hid the pot inside the cavity). Aftewards, this tone is close to my Strat bridge pickup.

over priced
I thought I would go all out and buy a $100 top name pickup. It sounds ok, I bought two Epiphone probuckers with all the wires and pots for $40 and they sound just as good if not better.
