I read the other reviews and almost didn't buy this product, so I wanted to set try record straight with photos. It's a great map. This is the updated version of the map, showing the 2018 lava flows. It was packaged well, not folded in half. It came in a tube, and in the tube it was wrapped in an individual bag. When I took it out, it was a bit curved from being in a tube, but this came out very quickly because the lamination is so thick it holds it flat. The shipping was faster than advertised.The map itself has a lot of useful information, and is a good size to either put on a wall or have on a table or fridge. All and all, I am very happy with this product and would buy it again (after the next map redefining eruption).

Fast and easy

This map is very detailed and it is current after our 2018 eruption. Very nice!!

Overall this is a useful map but it does show its age.Around Hilo, you have new bypasses and they are not in the map. These roads are a few years old but make youger than 2006. Other roads and beaches now are permanently closed.With recent 2018 eruptions, you also will find that some advertised sites no longer exist, especially hot springs and lava flows have by now cooled off.I like the topographical view of the islands terrain and that is the reason to keep this map.

I love this laminated map of the Big Island. It is a great help in planning our first trip to the island.

Map has nice detail and very durable. It was very helpful on a trip to Hawaii.
