Great tool for raising bread
This is my first experience using a "proofing" basket. What a great tool. As long as you roll the dough in flour before you use the basket, the result is excellent. The basket leaves a beautiful pattern on the bread when you turn it out to bake on the pizza stone and the baked result looks professional. Don't forget to score your bread well before you bake it. One warning--DO NOT WASH these baskets. Just wipe them out with a dry paper towel. The material will absorb soaps and cleaners.

Well made
This is a well made proofing basket. The edges are smooth, and it appears to be put together nicely and should last a long time. I put a small layer of flour on the walls before placing my dough, and it doesn't stick at all (no need for any oil / oil spray)Note that this basket is made in China. The only bad thing about it is that it is expensive.

Nice quality and works well with my sourdough, these type products must be heavily floured to allow sticky bread recipes to release.

Good sized proffing basket
I use it in conjunction with my 5qt dutch oven to cook bread loaves and the diameter is a good match. Seems well made and sturdy.
