I love that these glasses are sturdy. They are heavy and durable, yet they look very nice and pricey. It holds a good amount. These glasses have held up to my son whom we refer to as "slip rock" because he is always breaking something! I will definitely be adding another set.

These are much nicer than I expected. They are very heavy glasses, in a good way. They look beautiful and I already ordered a second set. I also got the smaller glasses to have a matched set. Very happy with them and we use these as our everyday glasses. No issues so far with putting them in the dishwasher either.

I was looking for a glass that came in at least two sizes, was sturdy, and looked good. Just my preference, but I'm really tired of the usual drinking glass you see listed over and over, sometimes called French bistro or restaurant style. I also was frustrated with the inability to get a matching shorter glass for other drinks, say juice or just because you wanted less. These fit my wish list. They are very attractive. They are ultra clear and shiny and have a nice, ribbed pattern. The pattern is on the outside where it belongs, not on the inside where it can hold dirt. I can't figure out why so many glasses that have any ribbing at all, put it on the inside, just doesn't make sense. I bought the two sizes. The 16 oz tumbler and the 12 oz on the rocks glass. Unfortunately, the size is not accurate. These are not 16 oz, they are 15 oz to the top rim, which of course, you'd never fill a glass to that. The photo attached shows an 11 oz drink in the glass. You can see that really, you'd only put 11-12 oz in the glass comfortably. I'm disappointed because I wanted a glass that would hold full can of soda w/ice and have a larger amount of beverage, so I took a star off for the inaccuracy. I am very pleased with the quality though. They go through the dishwasher with no problems, hold a good amount of liquid and after weeks of use, still look new. The one thing that may be an issue for some people is the weight. They are heavy! That was definitely a consideration after I bought these, but I figured I'd get used to it over time, and decided to look at the positive, it's a little extra weightlifting. I did get used to it and even though I have all sorts of hand, wrist and arm issues, I do just fine with the glasses. Aside from how good they look and how much beverage they hold, I like the style, which is straight up and down. I like the heavy base which makes these sturdy and balanced, and I like that they don't tip easily as some glasses w/a lighter base or different design could. I realize people will have different preferences as to looks, but as to quality, I think anyone would be pleased.
