Bought product June 2021, so now it's been 2.5 years; application is for home use and so far performance has not disappointed me.

Unable to find OEM replacement for Dewalt battery DC9098. I bought these thinking, what the heck, if they don't work or don't fit the OEM charger I'm not out that much. I have read stories where charging after market batteries on OEM chargers can explode, so I charged these batteries outside on the driveway. They took the charge with no issues. Now to find out about how long they will hold a charge. With intermittent use, they lasted about 8 hours. Very pleased.

great for keeping an older product going longer

At the home improvement big box store the price of 2 replacement 18v batteries was nearly the price of the batteries + the drill/driver itself. Instead of replacing the good as new drill/driver, I bought just these batteries that perform every bit as well as the originals. So far they work just as hard for just as long as the originals did when new. And just think, I could have paid twice as much to get the same batteries and a nice yellow drill I don't need.

I’ve cycled these batteries about 10-15 times each in the 2 1/2 months I’ve had them. They no longer hold charge (now within 3 days after fully charging, they have no juice after just sitting). If you use them immediately after charging, they don’t even last a day from casual use. I’m not a contractor, I’m not using them nonstop. Just regular home repair use. Mostly a drill (lasts maybe an hour), sometimes a reciprocating saw (lasts two cuts through a 4x4), when they completely overheat within minutes, to an alarming degree (can barely handle). Using DeWalt tools in good condition (not new, but not totally beat up either).And, no, I don’t let them sit on the charger when they’ve been fully charged (even though my smart charger has a trickle-charge capacity).To boot, one battery doesn’t even fit properly and I have to use a screwdriver to remove it (the tongue is too big—I’d sand it down a millimeter if I thought I weren’t dumping these batteries).This is the second pair of off-brand batteries I’ve bought (to be clear, the other wasn’t from this company). I will never buy off-label batteries again, and I’d encourage everyone else to do the same unless you want to charge your battery for 45 minutes before using it for 15 or less.

The batteries didn't hold their charge very long. To be honest they ran the drill for only like 3-4 min and then they were dead again.

These batteries work great, I just have to squeeze them into my charging unit. They are a little difficult to remove when I do that. Otherwise they work perfectly!

I bought these replacements batteries for my Dewalt XRP cordless drill. The original batteries died after about 5yrs. The replacements were about 1/2 cost of the Dewalt batteries so I decided to buy them. So far they have hell up to normal use like the original Dewalt. Used them for 2yrs with out any issues. They have a sturdy battery case and fits well in drill and charger. Recommended Buy and very good value!
