Love this detergent
I love this detergent. I bought it originally to use for my cloth diapers and it worked so well. There was never any detergent build-up, the diapers were clean, and my baby never got a rash (his skin is very sensitive). Afterward, I began using it for all my laundry and it works great. With an HE washer, this bottle easily lasts me a year when using it for all my laundry.

No scent at all
This seems to be the only laundry soap/detergent that has zero scent. I have bought all the others. The ones that say them have no scent, do smell. Allen's natural does a good job of cleaning my clothes, even when I get antibiotic ointment on them. But, oh, the price! A high price is much better than a headache from scents in a laundry product.

Works great with cloth diapers!
I was recommended to try this by a fellow cloth diaper mom, and I'm so happy that I did try it! It works so well and does not have any strong perfume scent. I had tried several regular commercial laundry soaps (Tide, Gain, etc.) and none worked as well as this! Plus, this is a great value! I recommend buying the pump with it so you can easily measure the 1/4 pump per load.

Love!!
Our family has been using Allen’s for about a year now. We use the liquid detergent and love it. We cloth diaper our daughter and this is perfect for a sensitive baby bum, although we use it for all of our laundry. She never gets a diaper rash and you only need a little bit of detergent to get the diapers clean. We do a rinse cycle then a wash cycle with detergent. Works fine and she is eating solid foods now. (We just kind of knock off the poop into the toilet after a dirty diaper to be specific)I would absolutely recommend this detergent to anyone, especially with a baby or sensitive skin. Even more so if you are cloth-diapering.

Thank you for rescuing the best flannel sheets, ever!
I have multiple family members with very sensitive skin, and I've been on the lookout for any detergent that doesn't cause an itchy rash. It may sound like a simple goal, but the bar is very high! I have tried all of the big brands and most of the smaller eco-brands by now. Despite the earthy-crunchy celebrity endorsements of these brands, after a week or so of use in my house, I have two small boys and one grumpy husband covered in spots and demanding to know when I changed the detergent. It does me no good at all to say that the old one caused the nasty rash two weeks prior; they are merciless, and who can blame them?I decided to try Allens after reading the reviews here, as frankly, I had nothing to lose except for some money. My family, on the other hand, were losing their sleep, health, and sanity. I figured that I could at least use it on the dog and cat beds, if it didn't work for the guys; one the other hand, my dog has sensitive skin too, alas.Instant success. "Mommy, the bed feels good!" said the littlest one, as he climbed in that night. My elder boy simply rolled over and fell asleep. Dad swiftly followed. I waited the usual week and asked my husband how his clothes felt. "Fine, why?" he said, which is exactly what I was hoping to hear. No problem since then. and the detergent has lasted for months and months with no sign of our running out. Who could believe that such a tiny amount in the wash could make everything so pristine? It's true, though; it does.I don't have such sensitive skin, although mine is rather sensitive. However, I am in love with Allens and have given them my loyalty wholeheartedly because I have a flannel sheet set that looked destined for the waste bin...buuuut, I just couldn't toss them, as they have a ridiculous, silly snowman pattern on them. I guess I should own up to the fact that they are my favorite sheets, and I ADORE THEM! The set was getting quite pilled and felt "hard", if you know what I mean, but I haven't ever found another set of sheets that make me happy to go to bed quite like this one does. So I put them in my linen closet and pretended they weren't there, knowing that I just couldn't toss them. Lo and behold, I decided to wash everything up for a seasonal cleanout, and I was stunned when the sheet set came out of the dryer, What happened to all of the pilling?? The flannel felt as soft as a cloud, like brand new, but even better.Happiness.

Great for Diapers
I am about 1/3 of the way through a gallon and have been completely satisfied with this detergent. No odor/scent at all. The pump is highly recommended as it automatically meters out exactly what you need per wash (which is 2 tsp for HE machines, surprisingly little!). Love that it is all natural, leaves no residue, and seems to clean the diapers really well. I do have to, once a month, bleach the diapers, as there is a bit of residual staining for the boy's dumpers! But that is to be expected, and it doesn't take much bleach, and I always do a second wash to get rid of any possible residual bleach (just in case!). I wet soak all the diapers in vinegar, baking soda, and water, and run a load every day to keep up! but it is working, and no complaints from the boy either! In fact he seems to plan his 'dumpers' for right AFTER he gets a fresh, clean diaper! LOL

GREAT for CLOTH DIAPERS!
We discovered Allens Naturally almost 3 years ago when we were new to cloth diapering. Have loved it since the first time we tried it. We use is for cloth diapers, all kids laundry, and sometimes for other laundry. It works great and we use a pretty small amount in our front loader so a gallon seems to last forever. Now on baby #2 our cloth diapers have held up great using this product. We also use their stink out product about every 4-6 months to deep clean diapers and keep them smelling extra fresh.
