ADAFAZ Red/Green Bore Sight Kit Boresighters for .177 to .50 Caliber Pistols Rifles (Upgraded Version)

I specifically bought this to sight in a Ruger Blackhawk Hunting Handgun in .45 Colt caliber, with a Vortex Venom 3 MOA Micro Red Dot Sight mounted on it.After receiving the boresight, I have 2 major complaints:1. I was disappointed to read in the instructions that came with the boresighter (and then verify by trying it) that the boresighter was "designed for use indoors in dimmer light." In my opinion, a boresighter is useless if it can't be used outdoors. The reason I bought this particular model was because of the green laser, so it would be visible during daylight hours! I am NOT going to pay to go to an indoor range (which are usually 25 yards max) to boresight my gun, before I then go to a longer outdoor range, to sight it in! The whole reason for buying this particular boresight was to get my gun sighted in BEFORE I went to the range! I don’t remember seeing anything in the advertising where it specified that the boresighter is for indoor use only! If I had, I wouldn’t of purchased it!2. There is no .45 caliber adapter! The advertising states (several places) the boresighter will work on everything from .17 caliber to .50 caliber; but there is no adapter even close to .45 caliber! The closest adapter is .390” (measured with my precision Hornady Dial Caliper) & when screwing it down as tight as it will go, it doesn’t even come close to expanding to .45 caliber - being very loose in the barrel! The next size up is .559” (which I am assuming is for .50 caliber) which is way too big. Also included in the kit is a .631" adapter! The description of the kit doesn’t mention that it will bore sight a 600 Nitro Express! I don’t understand why that is included; but not a .45 caliber!

I was hesitant to buy this when I was reading some other reviews, but I'm glad I bought it anyways because I'm not having any problems that some other reviews listed.- The laser stays perfectly still in the barrel of all calibers I tried it on and never required much force to put it in or pull it out of the barrels.- The laser beam stayed perfectly centered when the laser was rotated in the barrel. This was my biggest concern.- The unit itself feels fairly sturdy, however I can see how someone could overtighten the screw that keeps the rubber stopper on the end. It is the part that is used to keep the laser fixed in the various barrel sizes.

Well guys, this little jewel requires a little putsing around getting the cheesey arbor system to fit right but once you get the right fit you’re off and running. To me it works better than I expected especially for this price point. I used it first on a .243 and Nikon Monarch scope that was WAY off. I used the laser as instructed and inside of 5 minutes my little rifle and I were making some very sweet music. Sooooooo, if you can live without the absolute best and don’t mind a little bit of making the rubber arbors work this will serve you very well. Laser is sharp and very bright and the laser unit itself seems pretty solid. At this price you’d be hard pressed to do better. Thanks for reading.

Original Review: No Go for M1A w/Flash Suppressor - Shaft is too short to fit a Springfield M1A with flash suppressor. Also came missing one adapter. I now have an expensive cat toy or will use it on my AR (which doesn’t need bore sighting. Cat wins).Update 23 Nov 18: Wow, talk about going the extra mile. Shortly after my initial review, the manufacturer (ADAFAZ) reached out to me. After the initial “lost in translation” language barriers were overcome by sending pictures of the flash suppressor on my Springfield M1A Scout, I made it known that the shaft was too long to reach the actual barrel (they initially recommended I remove the suppressor. This was of course a non-starter). Since one of the adapters was also missing upon arrival, the vendor thought the missing adapter may fit in the suppressor. Without me asking, the next thing I know was they notified me that a new complete kit (not just the missing adapter) was inbound to me via priority shipping and all at no charge. Sure enough, the free replacement kit arrived today, and the missing adapter did fit in the suppressor. I am very impressed with the “we will fix this” attitude of ADAFAZ. As a bonus, they didn’t even ask me to update my review; I did this on my own out of thanks to them. Thank you ADAFAZ. I will surely by your products again when needed.

I've had a few different laser boar sights and this one by far is the best one I've had. It has even beat my higher dollar ones. The green laser is bright enough to use during the day with a little shade on the target..well even without shade its bright and it's a perfect dot at the other end. I've used this to sight in my AR10 and .338 lupua. Both with vortex optics and AR10 with laser sight as well. Couldn't be happier with this one and very accurate at that to.

I just went to the gun range with a friend that needed to zero his new M4.The day was not sunny but we were still under daylight, anyway we were able to clearly see the green dot at a distance of about 25 yard, enough to finish the zeroing operations of the rifle.The boresighter is all metal and seems pretty sturdy, it comes in a plastic container together with all the rubber adapters and the battery that you just need to throw in the shooting bag ad be ready to zero all your guns.I'm very pleased of the purchase and I'm asking myself why I waited so long before getting one.
