The remote requires 2 AAA batteries which is not included. The remote as my pic shows, they have 5 different colors of the light, orange, yellow, cyan, white and purple. You can change the colors for the mood/season, one of them is flash 1, which has all 5 different colors used and it looks really great ( my video has the flash1 mode). They also has speed and brightness button. The quality of the cabling and lights is 10X better than expected. Highly recommend

OLD REVIEW - Not as bright as I would have hoped. There is a fade up and down buttoning the remote, but at the highest setting I still desire more output. The plug system is not really waterproof. I bought 2 strands, linked them together and after the first rain, I had to replace the power supply with the spare second unit. This was not a spare that came with it, it was the power lead left over after I linked the two strands together. I’m not sure what my options are if this unit fails. Next: The lights have a mind of their own. The remote and tech was exciting to me at first but after a time lapse and extended use the lights switch to flashing or pulsing etc. I’ve not quite figured it out yet. That’s frustrating.SEPT 21 UPDATE AND NEW REVIEW - I was contacted by their team who wanted to understand and resolve the problem. They determined there was a product defect in my original shipment. Without me even asking, they sent a full replacement. All is well. Thanks very much for standing by your product and giving excellent customer service.

These lights are very bright and the modes and colors are great. The cords are very thick and sturdy.The problem I have is that I bought two sets. Sometimes both remotes control both sets of lights. Sometimes they do not. Also, randomly, they will change colors or modes of their own accord. I have no idea why.Lastly, I have them turned off at the present time, but once in a while, one set or the other will turn themselves on. I have the remotes stored where no one can "accidentally" change the settings.Mostly, I am pleased with them.

Bought these last halloween for a party, and was never happy with the brightness, but it was still cool to have all the color accents. I would have given them 3/5 if they kept working. In July they just suddenly stopped working and now I've wasted my money. I have two of these strips and neither one works anymore.

I knew I made a mistake buying these as soon as I opened the box. These look far cheaper than they appeared when ordering. One of the lights wasn’t working when I first plugged them in and less than a week after having them up, two more went out. I contemplated buying more expensive lights but decided to go for a cheaper option. Well I certainly got what I paid for...a cheap piece of junk. Not to mention they are extremely dim which is extra disappointing because the color options were pretty neat. I would not recommend this purchase to anyone else.

Had them up for seven days, stopped working. Tried different outlet, new remote batteries, nothing. Liked them up untill they stopped working.

I was thinking that they would of been brighter and they don’t keep there stetting

How can I get customer service for these. I bought these for a Christmas gift for our summer camp. Opened them today and the last four lights don’t work unless you bend the wire on the forth light. For the money I paid I would like some help getting a hold of customer service.
