Barrington Sports Textured Chamois Hockey Stick Overgrip

I had a purple one of these and found it really comfortable to play with, so when it needed replacing, I ordered another one straight away (in green this time!). I find that chamois grips are so much better than other grips for playing with in the rain (a regular occurrence in England!) and this one is soft and towel like. I use this as my main grip as opposed to an over grip and my previous one lasted me a bit over a year of heavy play (several times a week), until it ripped. The only other negative is that as it does not have a sticky back, it can slip down the stick bit over time and bunch at the bottom. In terms of putting it on the stick, I would recommend cutting the top at an angle so that you can line it up with the stop of the stick and then the rest will be angled. I also read somewhere that it is best to dampen it slightly before putting it on to get an extra tight finish - I did this and have ended up with a very smooth finish! I then simply taped it at the top and the bottom to secure it in place. I have played with it since and was satisfied with it.

Poor quality for an expensive item. Not soft or chamois as stated... no tape to affix. Had to return for refund. Very disappointed
