We used it to create a shaded area on my 90-year-old mother-in-law's porch so she can sit and watch the golfers. It's exactly what we wanted and the temperature is noticeably cooler underneath it. It does tend to sag a little with rain and tree debris tends to collect on it but otherwise no complaints.

What was that about double-stitching and D-rings for added strength?Marketing garbage, that's what.It's been a month, we've had no storms, and already I'm missing an entire D-ring because a corner failed. I'm holding it up with a caribiner and ship rope, but it's getting ready to tear the entire corner off (As shown by the large hole in my second photo. I did not cause that hole. The failure of the D-Ring and nylon sheath caused it).Conveniently, I no longer have an option to return this - let alone contact the seller directly to address this. $40 for cheap nylon and tremendous hassle.Modern day capitalism. The freedom to choose from an array of cheap garbage, and waste your money on it.

So I have bought a few of these wind sails over the years, I have some disintegrate in a year, I bought one from Costco four years ago & that one is still perfect, I have never taken it down even in winter.However, this one I paid double the price thinking it will last like the Costco one.It has been up for about two months & the white fabric in the corners just falls apart,I fixed one corner last week a grommet & now a second corner has ripped out.I live in California no high winds in summer!This is just garbage, don't waste your money...

Great durable sunsail! I was able to put this up on my own ( I was Worried I’d have to hire someone). It’s been up covering my back patio for 2 months now. I live in a city that means “Windy Valley” and it has held up and not come down. It completely took care of my over sunny patio. My kids can play under it and not get sunburned. I’m very happy with it, good buy.

The Sunkorto rectangle Sun Sail Shade was easy to put up and looks beautiful, but ......corner strap tore in first moderate rainstorm.Update: Another strap tore off . As a remedy/patch, I tied the (supplied) cord around the corner stitching, then tied a loop for the hook on the house; that is holding up fairly well.

The sun shade was exactly as pictured and worked perfectly to provide shade coverage in the front of our house. Be cautious when putting it up that it doesn’t stick on anything potentially sharp. One of the two shades ordered got a slight tear when my husband was installing it. Despite that, we are 100% pleased with our purchase! The price could not be beat.

A great sunshade if you don’t mind sewing new more durable corner straps on every season. The original ones lasted for 3 months! I would have paid a bit more for one with longer lasting straps.

All 4 fittings were ripped off 2 months after i had purchased it. Don not recommend this item, especially now when the price is almost twice higher than l bought it for.

Awning is as advertised and great value for money. Came with ropes for easy installation and has been a month so far and it has seen high and low temperatures and heavy wind. I just some extra ropes to reinforce the knot.

As some of the other reviews mentioned, the D-Rings are not adequately secured to material. Lasted 4 months before two of them tore from fabric. I gave it 3 stars as I will most likely order it again, because it’s exactly the color/size I need, and will just have to reinforce D-Rings myself.

intended to block sun from end of awning but haven't used it yet. Looks to be a good product and expect it will do the trick.
