I don't normally do reviews but I wanted to make a quick note that the temperature reading is the INSIDE temperature read by the clock, not the outside temperature. It does not connect to the internet. I purchased this too quickly and assumed it did and that made an.... well you know the saying. Wanted to mentioned it.Otherwise it's well made, true to size, display is nice - it weirdly works perfectly with my black ikea shelf, like it was made for it. So it looks great. I just really don't need to know the temperature inside my own living room.

I like the look so much, but the battery is really annoyed me.I know I can let the clock work with using a cable so that do not need to use batteryBut it is very inconvenient. 1) I have to connect to my laptop every time I want to use the clock. 2) or I should plug the cable to a phone charger in order to make my clock work.Because of this inconvenient, I chose to use batteries, but the product didn't come with batteries, and it requires 4AAA batteries. I plugged in new batteries for the first 2 weeks, then it didn't work one day, then I asked for the amazon support, they told me that I can use the usb so that the clock has electricity. It totally makes sense. but as I mentioned above, because of the inconvenient, I chose to but new batteries again, and I cost me money buying batteries again. then 2 weeks later. It didn't work again!!! Then I know it's time to change the battery again....It just keeps annoying me, there are so many works to do in a day and I have to put "change a battery every 2 weeks" in my schedule it's just annoying, and cost me a lot to buy battery too.I was going to return this clock but unfortunately, the return window closed just a few days before my clock run out of battery again.This review is very subjective, and I am not sure if other clocks change their batteries every 2 weeks. if you do not mind using USB cable, it is still a good looking clock to use.

This clock looks great, and has most of the features I wanted; but I would not recommend this to anyone for a bedroom, unless you sleep with a night light on. Even at its dimmest setting, it's bright enough that I can count my coat hangers on the opposite end of the room from the clock. The images of dimmest setting are very deceiving, it shows dark enough that you can hardly see them, which sounds perfect for a bedroom clock. Instead, compared side by side with my phone, I have to turn my phone brightness up to ≈65% to have matching lumen output. I spent a month trying to adjust, but unfortunately that's never going to happen,

I have a man cave of sorts and as such i didn't want anything flashy or chrome in my decor. This clock is cool. It literally looks like a finished block of wood until you clap your hands, make a noise or you can simply leave the clock on at all times. The book for setting it up is simple enough to understand as well. I like the fact that it has an accurate temperature readout along with date and time and you can set it up for which ever combination of those options. Brightness levels are adjustable and work very well. I would definitely purchase again if I need one for another room. No quality issues that i noticed and seems well buit

We got this clock to have in our screen porch. It's easily readable from anywhere in the porch. We have it set to the dimmest setting and it's still bright enough to see on a sunny day at mid-day. Can't imagine using the brighter settings and if I was using it as an alarm clock in a dark bedroom I'd probably put the "Dim it" darkening material on it, like I've done on our existing digital alarm clocks. The clock looks nice and well made, and looks nice as a decorative piece. Instructions - at least the English portion- are sparse and not very clear.

You get what you pay for. It's a nice looking clock. As far as the style and function as a clock, it's great.However, the "bells and whistles" are not very functional. There isn't a way to turn alarms on and off without going through the whole menu (which requires lots of beeping as you scroll through the menu). In the power saver mode, the clock turns on easily some times but other times it takes a lot more effort to turn back on. It isn't consistent. The date part seems nice but the year is the largest part of the date which isn't necessary. Lastly, the temperature reading is worthless because it tells you the temperature is the room. I don't really need to know what the temperature in my room is.

I purchased this because my cable set-top box does not have a clock. We wanted a digital clock that wasn't ugly to sit on top of a cabinet in our living room. This one is perfect for what we wanted. It's a little confusing to set at first, but we figured it out. It comes with a USB cord which isn't very long; however we plugged that into the back of our cable box and it powers the clock just fine. I would purchase this again.
