## Description

The MKE 600 is the ideal video camera/camcorder microphone able to handle even demanding filmic challenges. Due to its high directivity, the MKE 600 picks up sounds coming from the direction in which the camera is pointing and effectively attenuates noise coming from the sides and rear. The switchable “Low Cut” filter additionally minimizes wind noise. Because some video cameras/camcorders do not provide phantom power, the MKE 600 can also be battery powered. A battery on/off switch prevents the battery from discharging prematurely; “Low Batt” is displayed.

**Q: Will the mic pickup noise from the motor or arm movement if attached to the dji om3 gimbal?**
A: The mic is sensitive to all noise in close proximity. Overall, it’s not an amazing mic but built more for vlogging.

**Q: I'd like to purchase a hard case for this mic, any recommendations?**
A: I'd recommend an HPRC case: they're very well built watertight and crush resistant cases comparable to Pelican cases but significantly cheaper in price. (note: both brands have different color options, but with HPRC the price can vary significantly between color choices on Amazon. For example: currently the Black HPRC 2300 on Amazon is $83.90, while the Yellow and Blue models are priced at $69.90, and the Red model is $64.95)

**Q: does this come with a bracket and hot-shoe mount to put on my cameras?**
A: The Senn MKE 600 does not come with a "bracket" however, it does include a shock mount that can slide into and tighten upon and within a cold shoe mount.  The shock mount is low profile. Some cam ops really like it, others say it's a little flimsy. It wouldn't be a bad idea to additionally get a mount from KTek

**Q: Will it fit into the C100's mic mount?**
A: No I use these rubber rings from lowes I bought on my c100 mic combo.
