TP04 Replacement Filter for Dyson HP04 TP04 DP04 TP05 DP05 Air Purifi-er Sealed Two Stage 360° Pure Cool Fan Combi Glass HEPA Filter & Activated Carbon Filter (Not for HP07,TP01,TP02,TP07,HP09)

I have ordered these for years for my Dyson fan and as far as I can tell, it works great and lasts for about 6 months. It does make it a tad bit harder to close the “shell” of my fan but it still closes and it’s not that bad. Will continue to use these and save on cost.

Was a little tight to install, but it works well at much less money. I will definitely replace it with this one again. The two pack is the better value, but I only bought one to try before spending more money. Next time two pack it is!

This was a perfect fit for the Dyson TP02 air cleaner. Both the carbon filter and the paper filter are included and are identical to the Dyson filters. But one thing to be aware of - when you fit the new filter, look for the two slots on the body of the air cleaner - about 1/2" long each. Clean these out before fitting the filter - this is where the air quality sensors sit. If you don't clean them out you will show extremely bad air quality.

These two in one work much better than the two-piece filters, which for me sometimes caused a slight whistle. These fit perfectly and were simple to install. While I cannot speak to the actual filtration efficacy, after some usage they seem to be collecting as much as the more expensive Dyson filter.

This is my second time buying this filter which fits very well in the machine with ease of replacement. The filter does not affect the noise level of the machine. I could not get to do subscribe for 12 months but still, value for my money as it fits and works very well. You can see what a difference one year makes with the filters. In the first picture, one is the brand new filter replacement and the other I had for about 11 months although cleaned every two weeks that’s what was in the air filtering and the filter indicator turned red in the second picture with the old filter. I am using prime to buy it and opted in to receive this replacement filter the next day, which was quick and efficient. In the third picture, the new replacement filter was installed, indication white and works very well, smells very fresh blowing through my bedroom. Needed it and will buy again.

These filters smelled strongly of chemicals when removed from the box. Thinking they just needed to off-gas I let them sit out of the packaging for a day before installing into my Dyson purifier. When installed it made the air coming from the fan have a strong chemical smell and caused the built in air quality monitoring to report an elevated level of VOC's that has not decreased over 24 hours. Whole apartment now smells like these terrible filters.

If you are having trouble getting the hepa to click into place you don’t have the carbon filter seated properly. When installing the carbon filter hook one side in first and then slightly flex the carbon filter open so the hooks can slip in and grab the slots. If you keep pressing the carbon filter straight on repeatedly you will bend the hooks in making each successive attempt even more difficult. Flex it open a little. They will hook right in and then your hepa filter will snap right into place with ease. I have also read that people say their dyson won’t recognize the carbon filter. When you go into the setting to reset your filters you have to reset them separately. The first reset I’d do the hepa. Scroll down after resetting the hepa and reset the carbon. This product is a fantastic value. Others with short life spans may have the filter installed incorrectly of the air is just not as clean at this time of year. I have noticed no difference in the dyson filter vs. these filters.
