Into the heat of battle. GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!
Yes the battle cry for the anouncer of SF3. The SF game that should have been a hit, but alas twas not. What can I say about SF3, but WOW!!!!!!!!! I know your thinking, wait a minute isn't there two games on here. Yes, there is. But I want to mainly concentrate on SF3. In my opinion this the best SF game ever made. That is including SF2 and SSFIV. In fact if it was not for SSFIV I would be spending all of my time with this game. The graphics are great, the animation is so fluid, its like watching a high quality animated cartoon. The game play is very indept, and smooth as silk. It also has the parry system and the super arts, this game version of the ultra combo. The music in the game is the best in the series. Yes, some tracks are not as good as others, but some of these themes just are so slick. In fact this whole game is slick. This hands down is the coolest SF game made, the game just has a nice vibe to it as far as I'm concerned the best anouncer to. As I like to say this is the Miami Vice of fighting games. In case you don't know Miami Vice was a highly stylized, glossy, slick 1980's cop show that was very high on style. And to me this is what this game is. High on style and substance and thats rare. But, if you are a fighting game fan you need this in your collection. This game is that good. I know people complain that it didn't have alot of SF2 characters, and face some of these fighters are just weird. But, the good characters are good as any, in any SF game. Yes, I simp hard for this game. Trust me if your like SSFIV, do yourself a favor and pick this up. It is a hidden gem in the Sf universe. It is a shame it is so over looked. You can also take a trip down memory lane and play a little SF2, to see what started it all. Now see thats the win, win. Lata

Awesome, but scathingly difficult!
When I picked this from a third-party seller, it said it was used and in good condition. When I received it in the mail, I made the shocking discovery that it was BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED, AND UNOPENED!!! I seriously hit the jackpot. That was just me, but anyways its a great game and a good value. It's not as jam-packed with games as "Street Fighter Alpha Anthology" but it's got "Third Strike" so that more than makes up for it.My only gripe is that playing against the CPU is unforgivingly difficult. It seriously does not pull any punches and shows no mercy even on the easiest setting. Try "Very Hard" and you'll give up the first try. With that being said, I guess it does need to be a challenge because it is for hardcore fans. It might be harder for beginners to get in to because of the difficulty, but practice makes perfect.5/5

3rd Strike for the PS2 ! YAY!
Street Fighter Anniversary Collection is true to its name. The collection goes from Street Fighter 2 through all versions of Street Fighter 2 to Street Fighter: 3rd Strike. Buying This game was a kind of a dream come true. Those that weren't fortunate enough to get a Dreamcast or having loads of quarters to playing on the machines would have been happy to buy this game mainly for Street Fighter: 3rd Strike to play on their PS2.Being able to mix up characters from all the Street Fighter 2 versions in a fight is more of a nostalgia factor than trying to beat the game or find strategies for. All Original graphic are in there, and some songs have been changed up a bit, I assume due to different versions of the same stage but on different versions of the game. This is a pretty good addition to the collection even though we buy this game mostly for 3rd Strike.Street Fighter: 3rd Strike is an exact port of the arcade game, with character select timer, events like fighting Q, and endings are all in there. There are also options that were put in to change the reaction time for parrying attacks and other basic nuances of gameplay.Oh! Can't forget to mention the Instructions Manual. This is one pathetic manual. There are typos for some moves, arrow combination's are also a bit skewed, and they did not include what some of the options do in 3rd Strike. I fiddled around with them, and I could not see a difference and I did not know what they did. The last 4 pages were dedicated to ads for selling t-shirts, costumes, books, and toys. They should have spent a bit more time with the explanation of some of the very vague options and the the proof reading of typos. Perhaps doing some character bios would have been nice. But we can all find info about each character and the game on the internet, so I suppose we aren't totally lost. When you start up the CD it'll take you to a screen with 2 options: play 3rd Strike, play SF2. You can find the movie in the options menu when playing SF2. The movie has been set to the terrible English voice actors and also censored. From poking around, the option can't be changed. This game is a must buy for those who don't have a Dreamcast and want to play 3rd Strike at home on their PS2, for SF fans, for people who love nostalgia, or for people trying out a new game.

SF 3 Third Strike and SF2 The Animated Movie, worth every cent.
A great collection for a great value. Ever since I first laid my eyes on third strike as a 11 -12 year old, I was enthralled with the visuals, music and everything. ever since I've tried to find a copy to find my own. Needless to say, an original copy for any console costs wayyy too much money for my blood. When I found out that this collection included third strike, I had to get it. Now it doesn't have the visuals of the dreamcast but it's still the complete game I played long time ago. With Gill as the OP boss that he is. Included is hyper street fighter 2. Can't say too much about it, not my cup of tea but it's still there. And only on the PS2 version can you find Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie in it's entirety.

A NEW GAME LIKE ADVERTISED!!! EXEPT ONE THING...
IT IS A NEW GAME JUST LIKE THEY ADVERTISED BUT...it does NOT HAVE the Playstation offical barcode wrapper on top of the game case. I'm a little obsessive compulsive about such things though and if you don't have OCD then it's no big deal. I started the game up and its a brand new working game! GREAT SELLER, FAST SHIPPING!!! I WILL BUY FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN! Anyways i have the older model PS2 not the slim but if it works on my system, then im positive it will work for those who have the PS2 SLIM... It feels good to have this Street Fighter game again since I sold my copy back in 2005. This game is awesome and I completely forgot IT INCLUDES THE UNCUT STREET FIGHTER 2 ANIMATED MOVIE! Once again GREAT SELLER, FAST SHIPPING, BRAND NEW COPY!!!

One of the best fighting games for the ps2
This game is amazing! If you are into street fighter and have a ps2 this is a MUST HAVE. Not only does this game include street fighter 3 3rd strike (a.k.a the best street fighter game of all time) it also includes the anniversary Hyper street fighter 2 which has all versions of the second game.HOW CONVENIENT IS THAT! AND FOR $10-20 YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS GAME.WARNING: 3rd strike has an incredible difficulty spike if your not used to arcade fighters so if you were like me and and this was your starting point in the series GOOD LUCK and practice always.

Muy buena opciรณn en lugar de uno usado
Excelente juego! Nuevo y sellado. Obviamente no tiene manual, solo una portada al interior pero es mejor que uno usado y desgastado.

Dvd street fighter anniversary

Amazing collection of games!!
This is one of my favourite games for the PS2. Surprisingly, it came new from factory, plastic wrapping and all!Contained on this disk are some of the best Street Fighter games of the series. I highly recommend picking this game up, alongside Alpha Anthology. If you are debating between this game (Anniversary Collection) or Alpha Anthology, I would argue that this game edges out Alpha, but would urge you to pick up both.Pros:+Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 3+Street Fighter Movie also includedCons:-It's only for PS2, and they haven't released it on new gen systems.
