Works great! Styrofoam covering pins during $hipment
Previous reviews had noted that when the item showed up the pins had poked through the ribbon during $hipment. Clearly they have taken notice and fixed this. The pins are now embedded in a piece of styrofoam so it is impossible for them to puncture the cable. I ordered this to replace a faulty ribbon from another company. This ribbon and cobbler work perfectly.

Useful if you use a breadboard
If you are going to work with the RPi and a breadboard this is a "must have" item. With this in place you can move the Raspberry Pi around a bit without pulling individual wires loose from the breadboard. It gives really clear signal identification and keeps wiring a bit cleaner than trying to run wires back to the RPi itself. If you have a couple of these you can also leave a breadboard set up and just remove the connection to the RPI while this stays in place on the breadboard.

pin shanking
Not mad, not gonna send it back, and not asking for anything for it. I'm not really gonna dock stars from Adafruit for it since I already had a cable to use but, Adafruit, you may want to consider a modification to your packaging of this and possibly other electronic devices with pins. Wrapping the ribbon cable around the cobbler caused the very spiky pins of the cobbler to be stabbed through the middle of the ribbon cable, rending some of the pins in a state to potentially fail. See the enclosed pictures for examples. Bear in mind that while this only shows two that went all the way through, there were about 3-4 on each side that had caused damage to the sheathing.Suggestion, add that foam padding to it. It might cost a few pennies more but it would protect the pins, still, and protect the ribbon cable from the pins. Take it easy!

It does the job.
Kudos for figuring out what to do with all of those old IDE hard drive cables you used to get free with everything (yes, I'm that old)!

Love it
Only problem I can see is it has to be trimmed to work with a case. It hits the mounting screw.

Clear silk screening makes this the best
I've used a couple different vendors for this type of thing, they all work fine but this one has the best screen printing off them all. This makes it a lot less frustrating for new users.

Labels of each GPIO pin are very clear and well defined
Tha T GPIO interface really worth the money I payed, I have it already connected to raspberry pi 3B+ and no issue so far

Not all of the pin are labeling correctly for a Raspberry Pi 4.
The cobbler works okay (so far) but not all of the pins are identified correctly for the Pi 4's use. It requires generating a cross reference. This makes hook-ups go slowly, jumping back and forth. Apparently the Pi 4 must have added GPIO points. GPIO Pins; 2,3,10,9,8,11 on the left side and GPIO pins; 14,15,8,7 on the right side, are not listed on this cobbler. These pins are called TXD, RXD, SDA, SCL, etc. The mislabeled GPIO pins do work per the PI 4 descriptions. This is not a show stopper but certainly unwieldy and not what I expected. That is the reason for the low rating.

Great product
The product is really great and sturdy. It works out great ,but I had to get a new breadboard for it as it's pins were a bit broad for my bread board .Other than that it's a cool device.

Very cheap than a local item
Though it claims this is a product of Adafruit but the quality is much worst than a local one. It's very difficult to attach the ribbon cable with the cobbler.
