Value for the money is very good. I realize that the back panel is a sturdy cardboard material rather than wood, but it is substantial enough. As far as assembly....I'm a 73 year old lady who has put together her share of "easy to assemble" furniture, etc. This was not that difficult....took about 20 minutes. I did forget to put in the 2 wooden dowels, but the final assembly was fine....no problems sliding the door up and down. But it is important to remember that during assembly process, do not over tighten the screws until all is put together. Then...just tighten them snuggly at the end and you should have no problems. This is a very nice product for the money....it's not one of those fancy hand made beauties that cost upwards of $300+, but it is serviceable and looks quite nice.

O, yes, I am quite pleased with my bread box, it is living up to my expectations, it was easy to assemble and it is well made, I am looking forward to many years of use.

I bought this because I got tired of my bread being smashed or forgetting we have bread in our pantry and it going bad. With this bread box, we've been able to put our loaves of bread inside of this and not once have any of them gone bad or have been forgotten. We've even been able to use this for bagels, muffins and croissants. Not matter what we put inside of this box, it keeps them nice and fresh and prevents any mold, mildew or from them becoming hard. The shelves themselves are quite big enough that they hold a lot more than I thought they were going to. The door that is on this breadbox is really easy to open and close. I was afraid it might get stuck but no matter how many times I've opened and closed this, it never once gets stuck. This hardly takes up any space on my counter and I'm able to push this up against my wall without it being in the way of my cabinets above. This arrived fully assembled so there was nothing I had to put together. Sturdy and durable breadbox.

I would of liked the bread box to be a few inches deeper

Overall 3 stars, I unfortunately purchased this before reading the reviews. Most of the average ones are 100% correct. If you just assemble this from the box and don’t tweak it, it’s ver unsatisfactory. The pilot holes were drilled in correctly causing the top to run against the roll top and it’s damn near impossible to open. To all the other reviews with the same issue, to circumvent this I filled the pilot holes in with wood glue and drilled new ones, more flush and suitable. The roll top was still a little stiff, so I dabbed some cutting board oil on the edges and it slides like a dream now. With these fixes I really love this bread box, how ever; for the price it should come crafted correctly and not need hours of time to fix before use. Buyer beware.

I needed a designated spot for bread. This 2 shelf version fits one loaf of (American) sliced bread on each shelf. Just what I needed. Pro: The rolling front allows you to open the entire front and access both shelves. Con: The roll front design is just slats glued to strings, and not the sturdiest thing ever. For the price, the could have done a solid pivot pocket door, maybe?

The media could not be loaded.  This was my second choice after I ordered and returned a very similar but different brand of bread box that arrived with bad packaging and broken pieces 😒 Lots of good padding in this box and nothing broken or missing ✅; instructions were simple to follow (took me about 20 minutes to assemble) ✅; all the pieces fit together as they should ✅; the interior is spacious ✅; upper shelf has two height options ✅; the door slides well and the unit feels sturdy ✅. The only negative is that because the bamboo is a very firm wood, it required some good and steady strength to get the screws all the way in - especially the last 1/4” or so. My only assembly tip is to use a better screwdriver with a beefier handle, if you have one. I initially tried the one included in the box and it felt like it might strip the screws because, as mentioned, the screws get a bit tough to turn and the handle is wimpy. Made a small mod by adding bumpers to the four bottom corners, to keep it from sliding around and add a tiny bit of height. We normally have anywhere from 2-4 bread products on our counter but LOL, on this particular day we only had one. Happy to have counters that are little more tidy. This purchase feels like a winner and that the product will live up to the price. It was even a few bucks less that the first broken one that I returned, and that’s #winning too ☺️
