i have not needed to use these in an emergency situation but they were easy to charge. it was not completely clear when they were done charging bc the light does not change colors when its done. so i just let each one charge overnight then put them in the storage pouch they came with.The on button was a little hard (for me) to push, but that is most likely a good thing since you do not want it to accidentally turn on before you actually need it.They really do have powerful magnets and will stick to your car, i took them outside at night and you can see them from very far away, especially if they are flashing. I am fairly certain you could also run one over and it would not be harmed they are incredibly durable.The one thing I am unclear on is how often you should recharge them when they are in your emergency kit to make sure they are not discharged when they are needed.

Road flares are exactly what I was looking for. Right out of the box they were very straight forward very sturdy and very bright exactly what I was looking for. My dogs thought they were toys so keep them out of reach of animals. Battery last a very long time I've used them multiple times on my trip and haven't had any issues what so ever I'm very glad I purchased this item and wouldnt hesitant to recommend this item to anyone looking for a quality product they can count on. I keep these in my car. I split it between cars, then gather them all into one vehicle when going on a road trip. Haven't had to use it for emergencies as yet but I will always feel better knowing I have these. I have tested it's durability, and so far its held up its charge and brightness. Hopefully I won't have to use it but I feel better knowing I am prepared. Just a reminder - test the charge every so often especially if you have a long road trip ahead.

These flares are very easy to use. They came fully charged. I love that they are rechargeable in either the car or in a regular electric outlet. Happily, I haven’t had an emergency to use them for yet, but they will be ready if I need them. Bought for my entire family.

This is a nice, compact kit to keep in the car. I like this more than the other brands because this one is rechargeable but also has batteries. It seems like a better value for the money.

Lasts 4-6 hours, takes 10-12 hours to charge

I took these to my farm house to alert drivers on our road to be cautious, as we have small children and dogs. After charging for8 hours, I set them out. They only worked for 20 minutes. So I charged them again. Same story, only lasted 20 minutes. Unfortunately, by the time I returned home from my farm which has no internet ,the return envelope for Amazon had closed. So I can’t return them and they don’t work.

When I received the led road flares i charged each one for eight hours apiece and not one of them received a full charge. Manual says it only takes two to three hours to charge. I returned them.
