Matte Black Dot Grid Notebook, 7x10, 100 Pages (Workbook Sized Notebooks) Journal – June 13, 2014

I had high hopes for this notebook, but it just didn't work for me. I loved the variety of sizes available and the look of the cover, but it smudges and mars easily. The paper is extremely rough/scratchy, and while it's thick, it's pretty much just that cheap manilla drawing paper from school days of long ago with grid dots added. This could work for me as a rough sketchbook, or a book of scratch paper, but that's about it. I was looking for an everyday carry notebook for bullet journal-ing, and this just didn't cut it.

I love the options I have with these notebooks. The 7x10 dot grid may just be my favorite notebook for work of all time. Its perfect for my design job, and these notebooks have so many options that I think anyone can find what they need.My only complaint with these is that the matte black cover appears to get dirty very quickly. Even if I clean the cover well, just carrying it around for an hour or so makes the cover appear very greasy and covered in smudges, and I don't think I could be making it quite that dirty. But this is hardly a reason against buying, just a note.

I bought this for my 15 year old granddaughter. She loves it!

Ok as a scribbler, but that's pretty much it. Was hoping for some subtler dots, didn't quite get what I was expecting. Dots are prominent and the pixels that make them up are distinguishable. All in all, average notebook although I like that the pages are numbered.
