I bought this around a year ago and have been very pleased with it.It has worn well and still looks as new, really.I have it hung at my patio door, which is mostly open day in the summer. It gives very good privacy screening.The curtain tinkles lightly in the wind and seems to prevent insects from coming in.I very much like the natural look of the curtain.

I bought this for a bit of privacy after removing a secondary internal kitchen door due to the multitude of cats that sit outside and persecute me for not feeding them every 10 minutes.The item looks OK but I found one piece had split and fell off before I even put it up.The construction appears rather labour intensive yet fairly shoddy at the same time - typical "handmade in some remote region by natives" guff.The top bar is rough and ready, painted in some noxious ochre paint.The bamboo sections are graduated along the length of each strand, each held together by a looped wire piece - it is NOT one single strand of wire along the whole length, so allows free swaying movement.The wire however is rather thin, I expect this not to withstand any heavy and/or constant use.It`s also rather expensive for what it is - but I expect that accounts for the labour, even though I can`t see them being paid that much...I don`t know the origin of the item as I already disposed of the box but would be interested to know.It looks OK from a distance and does swish quite nicely but it`s overpriced and not likely to last for many years....or any years depending on usage.Bottom line ? I didn`t like it so put it in the trash rather than go through the rigmarole of Amazon returns - but you may be able to get a glimpse of the colour, if not the whole thing.

Very good and quality is what it says on the tin.

This stinks when new. Really strong! It is painted in some bitumen-like smelling oil. It ihas a very strong smell when new that you could smell everywhere downstairs. I washed it sprayed it, then left it out in the garden for weeks. It's now much better but still smells a bit. I'd be very interested for Amazon to declare the toxicity of the paint used and to provide a material data sheet for what this is coated in.I do not like the construction. The bamboo pieces are held together by very thin stiff wire. They break. They also tend to spike a little and are a potential eye hazard. As the little spikes could catch you in the eye when you walk through.I don't normally do reviews but this is so awful, you should not buy it.

Color is totally different from the picture. it is more yellow then brown... The wooden plank on top of the curtains is very rough and painted bright yellow color as well...All together is giving impression of very rough and cheap product ....

Vorsicht, es handelt sich hier weder um einen nutzbaren Türvorhang und schon 10 mal nicht um einen dekorativen Vorhang. Die einzelnen Bambusstränge werden nach unten hin *sehr* viel dünner. Guten Sichtschutz bietet der Vorhang nur im oberen Drittel. Eine Nachfrage beim Anbieter ergab, dass dies bei diesem Artikel Standard ist. Insgesamt würde ich die Qualität als schlecht bewerten, man hat Sorge die einzelnen Stränge mal etwas flotter wegzubewegen. Hinzu kommt noch, dass die Obere Leiste ist sehr unsauber verarbeitet und der Lack stinkt. Da hilft nur abschleifen und neu lackieren, dann sieht es auch nach etwas aus.In den Kommentaren wurde gefragt ob man den Vorhang in der Breite und Höhe kürzen kann. Kürzen in der Höhe ist das kein Problem, im Gegenteil, je mehr mal unten abtrennt umso schöner wird der Vorhang weil dadurch diese ganz dünnen Bambusstäbchen verschwinden. In der Breite muss man etwas handwerkliches Geschick mitbringen. Im inneren der oberen Leiste, an der die Bambusstränge hängen, ist ein Drahtgeflecht, dieses darf man beim Sägen nicht durchtrennen.Zwei Sterne bekommt der Artikel, weil es sich zumindest um echten Bambus handelt und der Vorhang für meinen Einsatzzweck als Sichtschutz für ein Regal (nach etwas handwerklichem Einsatz) nutzbar ist.
