Design Error Costly to the Photographer
Let me first say this store was fabulous with the timely delivery of this camera holster and I would buy again from this store. However, the reason for the 2 stars is a camera drop as result of a minor turned major design issue with this holster. The result is a $2,000 camera with a $1,000 lens crashing to the asphalt into pieces. This holster is well built all around, Very solid and strong!! I was amazed at how comfortable this holster was allowing for quick draw and photo shoot. Its comfortable. The metals used are strong. The belt material and clips strong. Now why a two star and why there is a major engineering malfunction of which is totally unbelievable. The bolt that attaches the bracket receptor to the bottom of the camera is WAY TOO SHORT!!! After 1.5 hours the bolt backed out and the camera and lens crashed to the asphalt. Yes, I did have the bolt fully tightened using the supplied wrench. The threads are only about 1/8th of an inch or less into the camera. This was a costly investment. Once again, the overall design of this holster is good. I have no way back to this holster manufacturer to file a complaint but clearly this is a design error and if you buy the holster you should really take a look at the bolt supplied and determine if you want to take the risk. BTW my camera used was (I say was) a Nikon D750 with only 45 shutter releases at the time of the damage.

Good, but with flaws
I bought this for a European vacation trip, it did the job, was nice to not have a camera strap around my neck. The base plate is easy to attach to the camera, and the post attaches to the base plate. The post can be removed to put the camera on a tripod. Storing the camera and removing it from the belt holster is quick, though it does take 2 hands to retrieve the camera. The belt is easy to tighten, though if you have a waist greater than 40 inches, you might have problems wearing the belt. Now for the bad. The quick release belt is too quick release, just bumping the buckle area can cause the buckle to semi disconnect, which can cause it to unbuckle at any time. Multiple time the belt came loose, Though I was able to catch it almost every time. But my Canon 6D with 24-105 lens did hit the ground once, breaking my Marumi UV filter. The belt could use a more positive locking buckle.Other flaws are the post on the base plate can loosen, an o-ring takes care of that. The unit comes with an Allen wrench to attach the base plate to the camera and tighten the post to the base, with a storage slot in the base plate, but the wrench gets hooked on things easily, and mine was lost in the second day of use.Overall I enjoyed using this camera belt holster but it needs some improvements.Pros: camera weight off shoulder, easy to remove and place in holsterCons: Buckle unbuckles too easily Allen key easily lost from baseplate Post on base plate comes loose People with over 40" waists may not be able to use

Perfect and reliable
This item has arrived on time in a good package. Belt quality is very good and matches or exceeds the original overpriced Spider Black Widow belt. But pictures didn't give a clear view of the belt so it appeared done this holster only good for left handed use; and camera plate does not keep the supplied Allen wrench.
