This was a Christmas gift for my son who wants to be a baker/chef when he is older. The knife set and the gloves are prefect for him bc he’s able to spend time in the kitchen with me without getting hurt. It came with a super babyish girly apron though not the one pictured. The whole set was kind of cheap all around.

This arrived without real packaging except a plastic wrapper and a single tag (pictured above). I sliced it open to be greeted with a strong smell of plastic (from the apron, I assumed). Not reassuring that they have to tell me it's "new." To me, this didn't match the information pictured at all. Maybe I should have known better but this seemed like real junk and I don't intend to give it to my grandson.

I have purchased similar knives before, but got this set specifically for the kid sized glove. My daughter is 8 and the fit is a bit small. I still don’t think I would let her use sharper knives with these gloves. Probably fine for the plastic ones that come in the set. They just don’t cut everything unless you use excessive force which most kids don’t have. Great for chopping soft things. My major complaint is the odor that came out upon opening the set. Toxic chemicals must have been used on the apron and carrier. I threw them directly into the trash.

This set is perfect! My 4yo was so happy to help in the kitchen and enjoyed putting on his little apron and helping me cut tofu with his new knife set. I also love the little punchout items as it's made for some very cute designs. I'd definitely buy this again! It would make a great gift too!

My daughter loves to help in the kitchen and this was a perfect Christmas gift. The apron is trash in my opinion but everything else is awesome. My daughter now can help me chop the veggies for the week with out worry. She’s learning kitchen safety and I couldn’t be more pleased. We haven’t used the gloves because she has super small hands but I’m sure she’ll grow into them when she’s old enough to use a real knife.

I don’t usually comment on smells but the packaged smell so chemically. I quickly realized it was because of the very cheap plastic apron (which appears to be fabric in the picture) which I threw away. Also the apron could maybe fit a toddler but it is far too small for an 8 year old. I have not used the other products as it is a Christmas gift for my daughter but visually they seem okay. If you purchase don’t base it on the apron.

Got this set for my daughter who is 7 and very interested in learning how to cook more. The colors are girly and perfect and the knives are easy to hold in her hands. While they are plasticish material they cut really really well but not so much that it would cut the skin if something happened on accident. The free apron was a little smaller for her but she loved a free gift!

My three year old loves to help in the kitchen. This was perfect for him. He is gaining confidence with adult supervision on using a knife properly. He loves to use his gloves and cut up vegetables and fruits. This was a game changer for him.
