Good motor, no installation issues.

Installation was no problem but an installation manual would have been very helpful and time-saving!

Took me an hour to remove the old motor, replace the seals and put it all back together. The motor is very quiet. The motor is actually 1 hsp but the whole Whisper system (Motor and Bell Housing) is rated at 1 1/2 hsp because of the impeller design. Can be confusing when ordering a new motor.

Lasted all of 16 months and was professionally installed. Very disappointed. Quality just is not like it used to be on non-American made pumps. My original pump lasted 4.5 years, this one less than 1.5, so based upon that trend, and the fact that you can only return it to Amazon after 1 month, not willing to spend $200 on potentially a 1+ month pump.
