Value for money
I always feel that sponge filters are the cheapest and yet the most effective filters for any home aquarium. I use two of these in my tank and it does its job well. The suction power totally depends on the machine you use. The bio chemical filtering is what keeps the water crystal clear.. So you need to give this some time for bacteria colonies to develop. It is very easy to clean and can last for an year if handled correctly. It is a value for money product.

Too small. What are the other sizes available and please provide dimensions

Decent Enough
This an excellent addition to your medium to small aquariums, especially to your low water level setups since the size of the filter is compact. And important thing is it filters decently enough. But Remember to add an air pump for it to perform.
