I really don't know how I quilted before this wonderful little bobbin winder! I absolutely love it. It arrived in perfect condition and I immediately assembled the unit and started winding. Works great with plastic and metal bobbins. I use both. It's such a relief to know that when my bobbin runs out in the middle of a seam, I don't have to stop, wind a bobbin, and then rethread my sewing machine. It was super easy to put together and I started using it immediately. Winds the bobbin in seconds and then you are ready to sew!

This bobbin winder is super-fast and even. After winding about 5 bobbins, the bobbin wound inconsistently. Fast, slow, stop. After 10 bobbins I was ready to send it back. After reading other reviews, I tried someone's suggestion of putting a piece of tape around the winder. Problem solved. It once again winds super-fast and is easy to use and quiet. The instructions have photos of two different models which isn't helpful, and the written instructions aren't very clear.

Does not work. Came without any package material so assembly parts and item loose in box, wrecking an inductor. Motor does not run even though red blinking light appears when plugged in. Policy is must return to get refund and it is too much hassle, time-consuming, and inconvenient to do so. The way the item was packed and the condition makes it look like their money is not in the product but somehow tied to a return.

So, the bottom line is it works with a different set up and winds the bobbin tight. Having said that, the thread holder is loose. The holder is longer than the legs of the machine. You can see in the video. Perhaps I did it wrong, but if I made it right, the extension would hold the winder up and off the legs and make it wobble. I bought this because my heavy duty bobbin winder for my Sweet Sixteen machine M bobbins pooped out. It will work until I get the motor fixed on my heavy duty one. It should work just right for regular machine bobbins using standard size thread spools, if you can stabilize the thread holder.

Was easy to assemble and seems to work fine, I’ve only used it a couple of times so far, but it wound a nice smooth bobbin. Appears sturdy but time will tell. Good replacement when my sewing machine bobbin winder stopped working.

This took almost 3 weeks to arrive and had no protective packaging so was broken and a part was missing. It had come from USA and made in China so did a lot of travelling! Returned and refunded but very disappointing

This is a great bobbin winder. Installation and assembly very easy. I purchased this to wind my M Class Bobbins for my Qnique 15R, does a great job, no problems with tension, etc. I recommend this product.

This bobbin winder works great for my metal bobbins….221/301 bobbins, but my plastic bobbins will not fit the winder. They are smaller and won’t go all the way to the bottom of the winder spool. I purchased this bobbin winder especially for my Singer vintage machines, 221 featherweight and 301, so works well for those bobbins. Winds very fast and stops when bobbin is full. You can adjust it to fill the bobbin more or less which is great.
