Cheap, Easy, GAVE NEW LIFE TO MY SENIOR DOG!!!!!
OK so I have to start out by explaining how much my senior dog was struggling before this. Our whole house is laminate and terrazzo. I have a 13.5 year old Siberian husky. Big, and furry. For the past few months he has been declining. he LOVES his walks and going outside but inside was becoming just sooo difficult. I started by trimming the fur on his paws to make sure he wasnt stepping on fur contstantly. That did help for a bit. But then, he was starting to lose traction everywhere. he couldnt stand on the laminate. his feet would slide around and he would fall down and we would have to physically pick him up. he HATES being picked up so he started just being terrified all the time. scared of falling, scared of being picked up. we got a bunch of rugs. he would stand at the edge of the rug, panicking, he did not want to step one foot on the laminate. Then we ordered Dr. Busbys toe grips. ya know the $30 ones that are supposed to be the end-all of grip solutions. Longest lasting and best grip. Sad to say it did not help him much.BUT THEN I saw the paw savers. I opened the package and was underwhelmed. I thought "how in the world can this tiny foam pad help?" but MAN I AM IMPRESSED!!!!First of all, they are super easy to apply. I thought I would have to wrestle my dog to put them on and hold them until the adhesive 'took'... but I didnt. It stuck right on and then within a few hours the pads had conformed to his feet. He is now HAPPY! Just instantly more grip everywhere. he can walk in our house without slipping, he can even stand on the laminate with no issues!!! SO AWESOME!!!! We were wondering if he was getting near the end of comfortable living... but now we have a TON of life left in him!!!! SO HAPPY and SO RELIEVING!!! It hurt so bad to watch him struggle. I am so relieved to see him happy in our house. As far as longevity, we applied these on friday morning. Its now monday mid day. I can see one of them is wearing fast, i think it wasnt applied the best. with practice I will get better about the placement. But lets say they last a week, each pack comes with so many pads, its WELL WORTH the money!!!!

These pads provided no traction that I could tell. They stuck to my dog’s paws firmly at first but as they started to pull away (within first 24 hrs), his paws began to bleed. It took a couple of days to get them off without making it too painful. Several of his paws bled while he was wearing them. I’m throwing the rest of package away.

I should have known better.
I kind of wondered how they would come off the dog's paw, a stick on that would stick on and I got the answer. RUFF , roughly, poorly, pieces at a time. My dogs wouldn't let me tug at them. PLUS it says not to let your dog eat them and to call the vet right away if they do!!!! well lucky for me my dogs don't try to chew them off. Yes, I trimmed some of the longer hair before I applied them but they stuck like the dickens to the pads. They were on for a day at the dock. On the plus side, the dogs didn't mind wearing them. They didn't hurt the dog, they just had to wear off and you have to make sure your dog doesn't poison himself. Hmmmm if they are that poisonous, can't it be absorbed through their paws? Great idea, but .......... too many scary things.

Happy Doggy!!!
I just moved into a new home about 2 months ago. When I built the house my plan was to do all hard floors so that they would be cleaner and easier to pick up the hair from my 3 dogs. After moving in my two little dogs who are 3 years old did just fine on the floors. However, my large 80 pound Bluetick Coonhound who is 10 years old has been having a horrible time. She really wants to be with me but when I move rooms she stopped trying to follow me because it was too hard for her to walk. She was sliding all over the floor. She has fallen a couple times and had many times that she would struggle to stay on her feet. I was getting really worried she was going to horribly injure herself. I tried the socks with the anti-slip on the bottom. Not only did they keep falling off within minutes of putting them on. She HATED having them on which was leading her to walk funny and still almost fall. I also tried putting things on the floor as walking paths. However anywhere there was not something she would attempt to run to the next, which would cause her to fall again.Enter the Paw Savers. To put them on you have to make sure the hair on the bottom of the paw is short. (That was probably the worst part about these. She does not like her paw being messed with) After that you just stick the Paw Saver on. Press it on firmly. Then them walking around presses it on more securely. Let me remind you she HATES having things on her paw and HATES having her paws even touched. These do not bother her at all. She does not care that they are on. She doesn't fight me when I put new one on. I have not seen her this happy since I moved in. She spent the rest of the day joining me and the other dogs wherever we were in the house. She was immediately running from room to room and not one slip. (Let me say also she is not a running type of dog) I took a video and sent it to a friend without saying anything. My friend immediately wrote back "Wow! She is running on the floor and not slipping. What did you use?"I put them on her on a Friday evening and did not have to replace until about Wednesday the following week. I have seen some people say they last a day and some a week. I think it completely depends on the level of activity you dog has and avoiding them getting wet outside.I will be buying this product again. So happy to have it! My sweet doggy is VERY happy to have these.
