We started to find clean standing water in our dishwasher. After narrowing it down through the internet, I figured this valve was the most likely culprit. I swapped it out and it solved the problem. Installation was a bit of a pain but that's because I couldn't get our dishwasher all the way out from under the counter (don't ask), so it wasn't the part's fault. I did have to go to a plumbing supply store to get an adapter to connect the 1/4 compression nut on the water line, but that's because I couldn't get the old adapter off of the original valve.

Found out the hard way that this no a perfect match for Whirlpool AP6015632. I took the part out of the package and didn't think to take the old one off first to compare. Was trying to save my back by having everything on the floor and ready to go. Took it apart found that the fittings are completely different. It will work if I can find the right fitting. Wasted time and now I have to buy another fitting. Be sure to look at the picture and compare before you buy. When something says it replaces a part # I expect it to without modification plain and simple. Next time I will just buy a Whirlpool part and save the trouble.

This solved my issue of my dishwasher not filling up with water. It was a perfect fit. Moderately difficult to install, but that is because of the dishwasher design, not the part.

Was the perfect replacement component...looks exactly the same as the original and hopefully last at least as long as the oe part (10 years)! Watched a couple of YouTube vids on troubleshooting and replacing this valve. all pretty straight forward... pleased with prompt prime delivery. Dishwasher up and running, kitchen back to normalwithin an hour of receiving the new part!

I did need to switch out the connector to fit my dishwasher but I simply used the old connector. It was a simple change and the valve works perfectly. No more dirty dishes!

New valve was an exact match for the old one. Except the new one does not leak water into the dishwasher. Now dishwasher stays dry inside between loads.

Product was easy to install. It was a perfect fit in the dishwasher replacing the older part. Operated without a glitch. Dishwasher was running perfectly after installation. Significant savings over other sources.

The price was right in addition to getting it with Prime. It was more expensive on the appliance repair sites with a longer shipping time. The valve has been installed for several weeks with no issues.
