...is that the outer, soft rubbery cage ball is actually pretty durable. But the tennis ball _inside_ was pretty quickly destroyed by my Doxxie.That's not unusual - part of the attraction of any toy for her is the de-construction. And the tennis ball inside is "replaceable" (wink-wink). Not sure how one fits a 2.5" tennis ball through the one-inch holes - a job for those people who put ships inside bottles, I guess.But my dog is the bane of any tennis ball, I guess, and putting it inside a cage makes it even more interesting for her, I think.

My dogs have never been interested in balls, preferring soft toys to chew. I bought this toy for my rescue dog Mikey as a last ditch effort. He loves it. He now plays with it actively. I tuck small treats between the rubber and the tennis ball and he goes at it. He looks like he is playing soccer as he kicks it all over our apartment. I will be getting a smaller one for Mikeys doggie mama, Bella who is now taking an interest in it as well.

As you can see, the tennis ball texture has gotten some wear, but it's pretty sturdy and well made. It's too big for my small breed puppy to get his mouth around though, so it's just a roll around toy at the moment.

The ball is heavy and makes a thud when thrown. Line any other tennis ball my dog still tries to pull the fuzz off it.

Love these as they don't get as slobbery and icky as other dog toys and they last a long time!

Large size is good to make it harder for my pup to chew. Rubber seemed to hold up well so far. Unfortunately the ball in the middle came apart and fuzzed up a bunch with my pups teeth.

Awesome for my dog

We are in theething stage with are puppy and he loves this ball, chews it all that time not rips or tears in the first few weeks, also gives him a ball he can carry but and play with out worries of his 55 pound play may mate getting a hold of it.

This is a very good ball for a pup over 20 lbs. The suggestion that it was “small” led us to believe it was for a small breed. It turned out to be much to big.

Seems very durable, a bit too big for my dog, but it's a lot sturdier than other balls I've bought for mine, due to the extra rubber mesh. Should make a good toy for bigger mid or larger sized dogs.

Dog loves to rip the fuzz of tennis balls. This has prevented that and keeps her busy trying. Also the larger one (3 1/2” I think) is large enough it would roll under furniture
