Perfect for my needs!
I’m giving this 5 stars based on MY needs. I have a pair of Polk outdoor speakers that were gifted to me for my backyard. I had no way to power them so I looked around for a Bluetooth amp that I can keep in my garage. I use Spotify to stream my music and made some great playlists based on mood, genre, etc. I use Spotify to control sound level, skip, repeat, etc. This amp just supplies power to my speakers. I have no issues connecting my iPhone to this unit and it works flawlessly for my purpose. The bass is plenty good for my yard, as is the volume. I have neighbors all around me so I can’t play it too loud, but loud enough with little to bother distortion. I do notice some interference if people walk between my iPhone and the receiver sitting in the garage, so I raised the unit to sit above 6’ and problem solved. I don’t know what people expect from this little unit, but if your use case is similar to mine, I highly recommend. I don’t use the remote at all, so I have no feedback. If you want to stream music from your phone, and use your phone to control skip/Rew/FF, this device is it. It’s cost efficient and does what it is expected. Setup is a breeze.

This is pretty good for the price. Customer service is stellar, though.
I use this for sound in my garage, which is my 3d printer and music practice room. It works pretty well. Electronics is so much better than it was 40 years ago when I bought my first stereo systems, and this is better than anything one could have bought then. It's not got a lot of fancy options, but the ones it has work well. There is no hiss or 60 cycle hum. The first one that was delivered had a whine on bluetooth. But read below for what happened to this. However, the customer service is really excellent. The seller contacted me separately, just to ask if everything was ok. I mentioned the bluetooth whine, and they almost immediately sent me a second unit, and offered to let me keep the first one. I think this is really high quality customer service, and I want to commend them for this. So, I would and will buy this again if I find myself in this market for another of these small amplifiers.

This is a nice compact receiver and fits snugly in tight areas
Overall, this is a nice little amp, yet powerful enough to show off the elaborate features of high quality stereo speakers with great highs and booming bass. The sound is so great, overwhelming the incredibly low price. But!!!!The built in receiver, while very selective and sensitive, is NOT STEREO. I suspected as much when I listened to several local fm stereo stations and didn’t hear the stereo imaging so evident in today’s av stereo equipment.Nowhere in the specs or data sheets online is the mention that the FM receiver was monaural. Otherwise, it works well simulating a high powered stereo pa amplifier.I had to remove the unit from operation, yet, because of the good price, put it in standby storage as a backup.

it works as described
Using As: A back porch stereo with decent outdoor speakers. LIKES: I can plug in a CD player or play music on a Bluetooth device such as a phone or TV. It sounds pretty good - as good as I would expect from those speakers. The bass and treble knobs work well. It has FM radio with a telescoping antenna. FM reception is pretty good. DISLIKES: I wish it had a jack for an external antenna but it does not. Also, you can not save stations like a car radio. I could get it to scan for stations but nothing would make it stop on a particular station. Instead, I had to tune it 0.2 at a time like 93.1...93.3 and make a written list of stations that came in clearly. Now I can enter the 3 or 4 digits to select that station and that works fine.MORE LIKES: In addition to FM, CD and BT -> you can ALSO plug in 1 or 2 microphones (or 1 or 2 electric GUITARS or a mic/guitar combination) and either use this as a P.A. system or guitar amp. No need for that Fender Reverb. The Karaoke thing is that you can play one other source - e.g. F.M. or C.D. or BT and sing & play along using the mics and guitars. That would be good to learn guitar to play along with songs. BTW: The Bluetooth is NOT out to speakers. You need speaker wire to go from the Sunbuck to your speakers. Instead, BT means you can wirelessly connect a device and play it through this Sunbuck and through the speakers you have connected to it with speaker wire. Overall- Do not expect heavy duty studio quality but this is well worth the price.

Overheats and fails
Bought this unit to connect through bluetooth to my home theater projector and power my speaker system. Had all the features I needed at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the first unit I received started acting up after about 5 minutes of use and quickly stopped producing sound. I was sent a replacement unit which worked well for several days but then also began acting up, first losing one speaker channel and then a few minutes later losing the other channel. I don't feel I was pushing the units very hard as the home theater is relatively small and I am not into high volume levels. My speaker system had been and continues to work well with a 30 year old all-in-one entertainment system so I'm sure the speakers are not the problem. I'd stay away from this Sunbuck unit unless they can improve their quality.
