As a 3rd party case, it’s a fraction of the price and works just as well. It more than doubles your original battery, and until manufactures are ready to give us more options of better batteries, cases like this are the way to go. My phone is practically always on and eats the juice so fast that I was previously running out of battery at the worst times where a charger was not available. I am glad I found this and pulled the trigger as I don’t have any issues of that anymore, but does inflame my arthritis due to the 8 ounce extra weight. The case it self has a nice smooth silicone feel to it and doesn’t impede with the phones use. It is not waterproof so you need to be sure to keep it dry. Overall I ike the case battery for the price and would recommend.

One thing that happened while using this case it that my friend needed to charge his phone, so I said to take my phone out and use it. He had taken the phone out of the case, which is pretty hard to do, and he pulled the phone down with the plug still in it. This bend the charging plug in the case and bending the plastic. The case still works though and I really enjoy using it. While I type at this very moment, my phone is charging using this case. One last thing that I have to say is that you probably should have a screen protector on your device before using because there is not much covering the screen. This is a very comfortable case and is easy to hold and use. I would recommend it.

I really love the case for my IPhone X as it’s a single piece case that won’t cone apart like some of my other ones. My phone slides in nicely and the fact that the case uses the lightning chord to charge simplifies it all. Often times my phone runs down to the bare minimum of battery life so to know all I have to do is press the recharging button on the back of the case and my phone will get more battery life is lifesaving! And because the case isn’t bulky, it feels really nice in my hands. Get yourself one. You won’t be sorry.

The charging potential is great. It charged my phone from 7% to 100% in about 50 minutes. On a full charge, the case will do 2 full charges of a phone that is at less than 10%. The only things I do not like are that there is not an easy way to remove the phone from the case without pushing on the camera lens on the back of the phone. I also did not like that the charger did not come with its own charger cord. The weight takes some getting used to but is fine once you get used to it.

I love this battery case for its value and its capacity. I have owned two other iPhone battery cases that had less than half the capacity and cost more than three times as much. This case also offers substantial protection to the back, sides and corners of the phone. When the phone warns that the battery is getting low I push the button on the back of the case. An hour or so later I see that the phone is close to fully charged again. I liked one of my former cases that automatically kept the phone charged, but I wouldn’t trade it for this case. I charge case and photo together each evening. The phone never comes out of the case.

At first I thought this case was a great value, but a month or so in, I no longer feel that way. Lightning chargers don’t lock into the charging port, causing them to slip out and not charge the case or the phone. The case doesn’t hold much additional charge anymore either. It will charge my iPhone battery maybe another 25%, plus the case gets incredibly hot while doing so. I guess this is what you get for ~$22. Spend a little more and get something better.
