The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Leather-bound Classics) Kindle Edition

When I was about 11 years old, I became an avid reader. After a hard day's work on our Dairy Farm, I would read at night. One evening my mother tired of me asking her what this word meant, and that word meant handed me two books'. One was a Webster's Dictionary and the other was an old worn cloth version of " The Complete Works of Shakespear", it was basically identical to this book but not as fancy. She told me " If you read these two books you will have basically read everything ever written!" and laughed. So I dug in...in a way she was right.

From summer to fall, I read whenever I get a chance, really really absolutely love this. I’ve discovered many things that I missed before. The contents are just so heavenly and must read it yourself to fulfill your accomplishments.As for the book quality itself, excellent overall too.

These are fine works of Shakespeare, but had a hard time enjoying the stories just trying to figure out what the heck he was saying, and his characters were saying. These are fine for college reading and dissecting, but for an afternoon read, a bit ponderous.

Some have said this is not leather. It certainly feels like leather to me!The binding is tight and excellent. The book stays open nicely, and the pages lay flat.The paper is not so thin that you can see through it, but also not too thick.It actually has the quality feel that I might pay $60 or $70 for a Bible of like printing.It is worth much more than the $22.99 I paid for it.As for the Kindle version, there are typos that I find unacceptable.“ By all the vows that ever me have broke”

I am using this in my homeschool for my kids. And the book is so beautiful in and of itself that I don't want them to touch it. It has incredibly thin gilded pages like a nice Bible. The cover is supple and soft but thick enough to support the books weight. All in all its a 12 out of 10

Most 18 teen old kids wouldn't get excited about this for a Christmas gift, but my Grand daughter did.

I had my eyes on this book for six months, and when the price dropped to Rs 578(approximately 7.8$) I instantly bought it!!I must say, this is a beautiful leather bound book with unabridged contents and is beautifully compiled... The service provided by Amazon is great... I'm glad that there was no broken spine or loose pages as complained by the other users.. The beauty of the book and the luster of the pages is beyond any praise..And as for the writer, nobody needs to explain who Shakespeare is and how great his works are... I'm contented with the book... Just go for it!!

Outstanding quality, large & properly size leather bound collection of perfection.An absolute must.Just buy it you won't regret it.

It is a very pristine and well designed book. It's a very respectful design with the red linen like fabric to hold your place in the book and the text being clear yet small - it does feel like you are reading a classic text, and Shakespeare really fits its colour designs and presentation. I know though you have to be careful with the book as you don't want to ruin it's classic gold/brown leathered look.

What a wonderful book, it really is better than the description. I cannot believe how cheap it is, for the quality. Most beautiful book I Have purchased.
