I forgot to write a review when I bought this, but it's been going strong for 4 years! It's very bright, but you can change it to yellow and it's nicer at night.USB chargeable, battery still works!Love this lamp, being able to rotate and bend it however I need is my favorite part!

This lamp get so bright. I am amazed.I got this lamp because my old clip on lamp wasn't enough lightning. Due to covid-19, I'm working from home. After a week, i really felt the strain on my eyes.This lamp is pretty flexible. I actually currently set the lamp straight up, shining the light against the wall. It's just my aesthetic for now. But I really like how I can position it in many ways.The light is cool (as in temp) and I know LED lamps would last a long time. I've left it on all night and no issues. There's a timer on the lamp as well.There are two things that kinda bother me with this lamp.1. The charging port in the back is weak. I wouldn't use it to charge my phone.2. The base of the lamp is kinda ugly in my opinion, but I put it behind my monitor, so it doesn't bother me that muchThe major plus that it does not advertise too well is it has a battery built into the lamp, so if the power ever goes out, the lamp will and can stay lit. It advertises 48 hours, but I haven't tried. This makes the lamp portable. I wouldn't travel with it however. I think it's still prone to breaking.It does power via USB, a cord is provided, I don't think an adapter was provided. But I have a few from other devices, so it doesn't bother me.

We like this lamp, the ability to change brightness, the color changes, the adjustability and the USB charging connection. We had not paid attention to the fact that it had a battery that had to be kept charged and most importantly, that the lamp can not be controlled be providing power to the outlet. So, if you want to use the lamp in a switched outlet, this is not for you. There is no info on how long the battery will last without power, no indication that the battery can be replaced, if necessary, or whether it can or should be left plugged in for long periods of time when not in use (eg. how best to prolong battery life). In sum, good appearance, flexible,good reading light, lacking in information (no respone from vendor to questions), and not suitable for switched outlets.

If you shop for modern desk lamps on Amazon, you'll find a zillion pages of almost identical looking lamps with similar features and, in many cases, similar buzz-words in their product descriptions. I bought this lamp in both silver/white and black. I chose this particular lamp primarily because, of the lamps that looked like what I wanted, this one had the official Amazon seal-of-approval and it had a lot of high ratings.I ordered the two lamps on different occasions. Each showed up within a day or two, well packaged in reasonably minimal packaging. They cast a pleasant light over a pretty wide area, but they certainly don't light up the room like the old-school (150 W bulb) desk lamp I'm replacing. But since they are battery operated, it's super easy to just place the lamp where it's needed and move it out of the way when it's not in use.

Honestly one of the best lights I've seen or purchased. I am still trying to find what I'd change about it to make it better, but currently cannot think of a single thing!Some of the reviews on it make me laugh as people are complaining it's too heavy when it isn't by any means. If you can hold a bath towel up with one hand, this will be no harder. Seriously, I held the light in one hand and a towel in the other - it's the same weight and this bath towel is the average Walmart bought towel, nothing fancy. Some complain that it doesn't turn 360 degrees and only 75 degrees left or right....well if you need it to turn a tiny bit more to the left of right, physically pick up the whole thing and turn it that extra bit. Personally, weird thing to complain about once you see how it turns in person considering it is extremely stable and turns further to each side than most lights I've seen.I will say that I haven't tried using the charging system for my phone as my phone can only be charged wirelessly since I broke my port. So if you're reading this review and are specifically wanting a light with the phone charging capabilities, this review will not be useful for you and I'm sorry for that, but still purchase the light. You won't regret it!

I'm using the lights for the cordless lighting of my dining room table. They arrived in good shape and seem to work as advertised. Since I purchased them for their cordless capabilities, I did a test of those features and am satisfied so far. After an initial 4 hour charge on each I turned them on bright until they got VERY dim. Then I charged them both fully (green light) and did the test. The results were: It took 4 1/2 hours for both to charge fully (green light). Then I turned them on high and let them sit. After about 3 hours I started to see a little diming but most of the brightness lasted until 4 hours. After 4 hours they started to continue to dim until about 4.5 hours when they started to be of little use. Hope that helps.
